Additional Persecution News from China – March 14, 2020 (15 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in ten provinces, where at least 20 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Shanghai] Ms. Lu Rongying Detained

Ms. Lu Rongying from the Pudong New Area was arrested at home on February 11, 2020, and her home was ransacked. She was taken to the Pudong Detention Center.

2. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Sun Yanli and Other Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Sun Yanli and other practitioners were arrested by officers from the Yongju Police Station and Xinhui Town Police Station, Aohan Banner, on March 13, 2020. Ms. Sun was given ten days of detention, which was postponed because of the CCP virus (Wuhan virus or coronavirus) epidemic.

3. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yang Shuzhen Arrested

Ms. Yang Shuzhen was arrested at home on March 10, 2020. The police confiscated her Falun Dafa books.

4. [Tianjin] Ms. Gong Baoyue Arrested

Ms. Gong Baoyue from the Hexi District was arrested by officers from the Hedong Police Department and Fuminlu Police Station on March 12, 2020. She was brought back home by her family late in the evening on March 13.

5. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Xueqin Taken to Prison

Ms. Li Xueqin, 52, from Jiayue Town, was arrested by officers from the Zhucheng City Domestic Security Division on the morning of August 8, 2019. She was held in the Weifang City Detention Center.

Ms. Li was sentenced to a ten-month prison term on January 23, 2020, and is incarcerated in Weifang Prison.

6. [Yulin City, Guangxi Province] Ms. Chen Lixia and Her Husband Mr. Lan Xiaobing Arrested

Ms. Chen Lixia and her husband Mr. Lan Xiaobing from Luchuan County were arrested at home by officers from the Lucheng Town Police Station on the afternoon of March 12, 2020. The officers confiscated the couple's Falun Dafa books and printed materials.

7. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Ji Guizhen’s Case Turned Over to Procuratorate and Court

Ms. Ji Guizhen, in her 70s, was arrested by officers from the Loufeng Police Station in Suzhou Industrial Park on September 23, 2019. She was released on bail that evening. Her case was later turned over to the Wujiang District Procuratorate and the court.

8. [Yichun City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Jiang Mixiu Detained

Ms. Jiang Mixiu from Gao’an City was arrested in February 2020, and her home was ransacked. She is being held in a facility in Yichun City.

9. [Fuping County, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Guomei Arrested

Ms. Yang Guomei, in her 80's, was arrested at home by officers from the Fuping County Domestic Security Division on March 11, 2020. She has since been released.

10. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Tieshan Arrested

Mr. Zhang Tieshan from Qing County was arrested on March 13, 2020, for talking to people about Falun Gong. The police ransacked his home, and confiscated Falun Dafa books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and a computer.

11. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Cases of Ms. Liu Fuchun and Ms. Yang Wen Turned Over to Court

Ms. Liu Fuchun and Ms. Yang Wen are being held in the Changsha City No. 4 Detention Center. Their cases have been turned over to the Wangcheng County Court by the Wangcheng Procuratorate.

12. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Luo Chungui and Mr. Gao Arrested

Mr. Luo Chungui and Mr. Gao from Guchengzi Street, Wanghua District, were arrested by officers from the Guchengzi Police Station for talking to people about Falun Gong. Their printed materials were confiscated.

Mr. Luo was held in the police station for two days before being released.

13. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Shi Huaxin Arrested

Mr. Shi Huaxin was recently arrested by officers from the Zhenbei Police Station.

Ms. Gao Shumei from the Yichun District was arrested at home by officers from the Zhicai Police Station on the morning of March 13, 2020.

15. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Yanjie and Her Family Arrested

Ms. Li Yanjie, and her non-practitioners husband and daughter from the Ranghulu District were arrested by the local police on the evening of March 12, 2020.
