Additional Persecution News from China – February 12, 2020 (6 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 14 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Mianyang City, Sichuan Province] Four Practitioners Detained
2. [Xiajin County, Shandong Province] Mr. Mo Xinzhong and His Wife Arrested
3. [Juancheng County, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Mixiang Arrested
4. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Detained
5. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yang Yaru Displaced; Mr. Xin Zhihua Detained
6. [Haicheng City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Jiang Lihua and Ms. Li Ping Arrested

1. [Mianyang City, Sichuan Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Ms. Liu Tao, Mr. Deng Chengkai, Ms. Liao Guanghui, and Ms. Song Yuhua were arrested in July 2019. Ms. Liu, Ms. Liao, and Ms. Song are being held in the Mianyang Detention Center. Mr. Deng is being held in Santai Detention Center.

2. [Xiajin County, Shandong Province] Mr. Mo Xinzhong and His Wife Arrested

Mr. Mo Xinzhong and his wife from Mozhuang Village, Xiangzhaozhuang Town, were arrested at their daughter’s bakery on the evening of February 9, 2020, by officers from the Jiangdian Police Station, Gaotang County. The wife became ill and was hospitalized.

3. [Juancheng County, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Mixiang Arrested

Ms. Sun Mixiang from Liuzhuang Village, Jishan Town, was arrested by officers from the Jishan Police Station on February 8, 2020, for distributing Falun Gong materials. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Dafa books, printed materials, and Falun Gong calendars. Her family was forced to pay 40,000 yuan.

4. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Lu Huiping, Ms. Li Lanxin, and Mr. Xu Zhimin were deceived by village leaders into going to the Dongwang Town Police Station on February 7, 2020. They were arrested by officers from the Dingzhou City Police Department and Domestic Security Division, and taken to the Dingzhou Police Department.

Several unidentified people ransacked Ms. Li’s home. The three practitioners were taken to Chengbei Detention Center in Dingzhou.

5. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yang Yaru Displaced; Mr. Xin Zhihua Detained

Police officers went to Ms. Yang Yaru’s home in Henan Village, Xidayingzi Town, Longcheng District, to arrest her on February 10, 2020. However, she was not home at that time, and now stays away from her home to avoid persecution.

Mr. Xin Zhihua was arrested in the fall of 2019. He was officially placed under arrest, and is being held in the Chaoyang Detention Center.

6. [Haicheng City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Jiang Lihua and Ms. Li Ping Arrested

Ms. Jiang Lihua and Ms. Li Ping from Dongliang Village, Ganwang Town, were reported to the police on the evening of February 8, 2020, for distributing information about Falun Gong. They were arrested by officers from the Ganwang Police Station. Both practitioners were held there overnight, and collected by their families the following morning.
