(Minghui.org) As the novel coronavirus reaches epidemic proportions, I truly feel the urgency of saving sentient beings. We should let go of our fear and use our compassion to save people.
When the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began closing down cities and villages, everyone was frightened. People began staying in their homes and the streets became empty.
I couldn’t fulfill my daily target of helping at least 10 people to renounce their CCP memberships. My determination to save people never wavered, however.
Many practitioners began using the Internet, making phone calls or sending text messages to let people know, “Falun Dafa is wonderful! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is wonderful!” I make use of every opportunity. For example, when the community staff came to my home to register it, I believed that they came so I could tell them that the way to get through this epidemic safely was to sincerely recite “Falun Dafa is wonderful!”
Even though every household has their door closed, we go out as usual. We place truth-clarification materials, including little keepsakes which read: “The world needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” and “Falun Dafa is wonderful! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is wonderful!” on their doors. When people see what we've put on their doors, they say, “Thank you!” I feel very happy for them.
We practitioners should encourage each other. Because of this current isolation, it's difficult to meet face-to-face. I realized that some practitioners aren't looking at this virus outbreak from the Fa's perspective, and may have developed some negative thoughts. As a result, they behave the same as non-practitioners. Out of fear, they decided to isolate themselves. Unfortunately, they're spreading their notions to other practitioners, and misleading them.
I hope that practitioners who have correct understandings of this epidemic will try to encourage the others. I feel that what's most important is having compassion for all people, including our fellow practitioners.
Let us snap out of isolating ourselves and seize this opportunity to save more people!
