(Minghui.org) The recent situation about the U.S. election has touched the hearts of many, including Falun Dafa disciples. The battle between good and evil appears to be in a state of stalemate, with good and bad news pouring in simultaneously.
What I want to share with fellow practitioners is that while we continue to do the three things, we should also pay attention to cultivating away our human thinking. We should avoid becoming elated when good news arrives or get despondent when we see bad news. We are in the middle of the battle, and temporary victory and defeat is the constant state of warfare before the final outcome is decided.
This battle of good vs. evil is affecting everyone in the world, who is positioning him or herself, and choosing their future. The true nature of a person will be revealed by his or her choice. And only at such a critical moment will a person’s true nature be revealed.
No matter what has happened and will happen, we should wholeheartedly do what we should do, including sending forth righteous thoughts and clarifying the truth. We should face the world with a cultivator's pure and serene mind and calmly carry out our duties. This is what I recently enlightened to from Master’s poem:
“Doing, but without pursuit—So constant, abiding in the Dao.” (“Abiding in the Dao,” Hong Yin, Translation version A)
