1. [Baofeng County, Henan Province] Ms. Han Xiuzhi Taken to Prison
Ms. Han Xiuzhi in Zhaozhuang Township was arrested on July 22, 2019. After her case was returned by the Baofeng County Court, it was turned over to the Pingdingshan Procuratorate.
She was given a two-year prison term and is being held in the Xinxiang Prison.
2. [Bei’an City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhu Xiaoling Detained
Ms. Zhu Xiaoling went to the Heping Police Station to take care of some matters on the morning of October 12, 2020. She was arrested by officers from the Qinghua Police Station. Subsequently, two officers went to her home and ransacked the place. They did not find anything they wanted.
She was given 10 days of administrative detention at the Wudalianchi City Detention Center.
3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Xiaoling Held in Detention Center
Ms. Wang Xiaoling was arrested by officers from the Changjiulu Police Station in September 2020. She was held in the Changchun City No. 4 Detention Center.
4. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhang Huaping Arrested
Mr. Zhang Huaping, a library staff member of Hubei University of Technology, was arrested by people from the Shizishan Sub-district Administration Office, the security office of Hubei University of Technology, and Hugong Residential Community on October 16, 2020. Her current whereabouts are unclear.
In his over 20 years of practicing Falun Dafa, Mr. Zhang has been repeatedly persecuted by the Hongshan District 610 Office, the Shizishan Sub-district Administration Office, the security division of Hubei University of Technology, and the Wenbao Police Department.
During these two decades, he was subjected to violent brainwashing, severe beatings, criminal detention, and other abuses.
5. [Renqiu City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Fenghua’s Case Brought to Court
Ms. Wang Fenghua was arrested by officers from the Qingta Police Station. Her case was brought to court.
6. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wan Fang and Family Members Harassed
Zhang Aili, director of Zhaozhou County Cultural and Sports Bureau, talked to Mr. Wan Fang in mid-September 2020. Zhang tried to talk him out of practicing Falun Dafa and told him to sign the paperwork renouncing Falun Gong. Zhang said it was a requirement by the Political and Legal Affairs Committee. Mr. Wang refused to sign the paperwork.
Zhang later talked with Mr. Wan’s family members and threatened them, putting the family under significant stress.
7. [Shanghai] Ms. Liu Chengying Arrested
Ms. Liu Chengying, 74, from the Changning District, was reported to the police while talking to people about Falun Gong on the morning of September 29, 2020. She was arrested by officers from the Hongqiao Police Station. Her home was ransacked, and she was held in the Changning District Detention Center.
8. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Wang Hao Sentenced to Prison
Mr. Wang Hao was given a one-year-and-two-month prison term by the Lichuan Court.
9. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Hou Yanmei Arrested
Ms. Hou Yanmei in Xiangfang District was arrested at home by five or six plainclothes officers from Jiankang Road Police Station on September 23, 2020. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Dafa books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, a computer, a laptop, hard disks, small speakers, and two cell phones.
She was taken to the Xiangfang Police Department for interrogation and a physical examination. She was brought back to the Jiankang Road Police Station in the afternoon and released that afternoon.
10. [Dalian City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Yu’s Home Ransacked
Officers from the Xigang District Police Station ransacked the home of practitioner Yu (gender unknown) on the afternoon of October 8, 2020. They confiscated printed materials, a printer, and paper currency with Falun Gong information printed on them.
11. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Harassed
On September 27, 28, and 29, 2020, personnel from Tiedong Community and the police station went to Ms. Li Yajie’s son’s shop on three consecutive days to harass him.
They told him to ask his mother to sign guarantee statements renouncing her faith in Falun Gong. They threatened that they would all lose their jobs if she did not sign. Finally, her son took a picture of his mother and gave it to them before they stopped coming.
Personnel from the Beicheng Police Station and Beicheng Community went to Ms. Yan Jing’s workplace on October 2, 2020. They were looking for her to sign the guarantee statements, but she was not there.
The Shulan Judicial Bureau called Ms. Chen Yuxia’s daughter to locate Ms. Chen, which her daughter flatly refused.
12. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Hu Weihong Harassed
Zhang Yu, an officer from the Wulong Police Station in the Longsha District, called and harassed Practitioner Hu Weihong (gender unknown) several times. Zhang forced Hu’s family to take him or her to the police station to transcribe the guarantee statements.
13. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Liu Bianqin Abused
Ms. Liu Bianqin from the Tujiagou Community in the Wuchang District, has been arrested and detained several times by community personnel and the police because of her persistence in practicing Dafa. Her husband and son repeatedly beat and scolded her out of fear of the Chinese Communist Party, which restricted her mobility for a long time.
The community personnel went to her home on October 15, 2020. They instigated her husband to beat her again, and her son also threatened and yelled at her.
14. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Wu Chengjun and Ms. Xiao Na were arrested at home by over 20 people from the Benxi City Police Department, the Beidi Police Station, and community personnel on October 15, 2020. Their homes were ransacked and over 20 Falun Dafa books, several printers, computers, printed materials, and calendars were confiscated.
Mr. Wu was taken to the police station. Ms. Xiao was released at around 8 p.m. that evening.
Ms. Wang Baozhi in Nandi Sub-district was arrested by officers from the Qianjin Police Station and residential personnel on the morning of October 15, 2020. Her computer was confiscated.
15. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Wang Guanghui Harassed
Chen Chao and Hu Yuanjin, who are responsible for monitoring Internet content in Guansheng Village, went to practitioner Wang Guanghui’s (gender unknown) home, harassed Wang, and took pictures of Wang on the afternoon of October 13, 2020.
16. [Yitong County, Jilin Province] Mr. Dong Weixing’s Case Turned Over to Procuratorate
Mr. Dong Weixing was arrested on October 10, 2020. He was held in the Yitong County Detention Center. His case was turned over to the Yitong County Procuratorate on October 16.
17. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Guiqing and Ms. Yang Wenshu Arrested
Ms. Liu Guiqing, 79, and Ms. Yang Wenshu, 82, in Youyi County, were followed and arrested when they were distributing Falun Gong materials on October 16, 2020.
Officers confiscated from Ms. Liu’s home a computer, a printer, printer paper, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Gong books, and 200 yuan in paper currency with Falun Gong facts printed on them. Officers confiscated from Ms. Yang’s home a laptop, a printer, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Dafa books, and nearly 1,000 yuan in paper currency with Falun Gong messages printed on them. Both practitioners have returned home.
18. [Gaobeidian City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Lanying Harassed
Plainclothes officers from the Dongmaying Police Station broke into Ms. Zhao Lanying’s home and ransacked the place on September 24, 2020. They asked her if she still practiced Falun Gong. They also tore down pictures with Falun Gong content from the wall.
19. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sun Guiying Arrested
Ms. Sun Guiying, in her 60s, in Jinfukang Residential Community, Xiuyan County, was arrested at home on the afternoon of October 15, 2020. Her home was ransacked.
20. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Li Shuang and Mr. Li Tingchun Arrested
Practitioner Li Shuang (gender unknown) and Mr. Li Tingchun, father of Li Shuang, in Tayu Town were arrested by officers from the Tayu Police Station on October 16, 2020. The officers ransacked their home and confiscated a computer and Falun Dafa books. Mr. Li Tingchun was released the next evening, and Li Shuang was taken to Xinbin County.
21. [Shanghai] Ms. Sun Baomei Officially Arrested
Ms. Sun Baomei in the Pudong New Area was arrested by officers from the Pudong Domestic Security Division and the Zhoujiadu Police Station on September 7, 2020. She was officially arrested a week later. She is being held in the Pudong New Area Detention Center.
22. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yang Congqing’s Family Harassed
People from the Juntun Town Comprehensive Management Office and the police station went to Ms. Yang Congqing’s parents’ home and harassed them on September 30, 2020. They confiscated several Falun Dafa books.
