(Minghui.org) I clarified the truth to Chinese tourists before the coronavirus pandemic. As the virus began impacting more countries, I felt that it was even more urgent to awaken the conscience of people. I joined the RTC platform and a social media app to clarify the truth to Chinese people.

I encountered all kinds of people. Some immediately agreed to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), but others asked a lot of questions. Some were deeply poisoned by the CCP and insisted on their opinion, even if they acknowledged they were wrong. I felt a little frustrated at first and thought it was hard to awaken their conscience.

“Actually, let me tell you, you shouldn't give too much weight to what ordinary people say, because lots of ordinary people aren't rational. Human beings, you know, are affected by many concepts in the ordinary society, and they're constantly forming different concepts, which severely affect their original nature and true thoughts. So the things some people say seem right but are actually wrong, are insincere, or are poorly thought-out. Don't think that ordinary people are as rational as you are. Lots and lots of people are pretty irrational right now, and actually, you were like that too at the beginning. (Audience laughs) You only became more rational after you matured and bad things were removed. When an ordinary person comes to understand things, or decides whether something is good or bad, it's done at a very shallow level. Even what he says to his family and to people who've done a lot for him seems right but is actually wrong, it's insincere, he doesn't make good on promises, and he avoids responsibility for any consequences. So don't think it's significant. If you want to save him then you need to help him become rational.” (Fa-Lecture During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference)

I realized that one of the worst notions the Chinese people have right now is that they think the CCP is China. Most of them know that the Party is not good, but they do not want other people to talk about it.

I usually start out by reminding them that the CCP does not equate to China. I point out that the history of the CCP is written in blood and lies. From the beginning, it engaged in various political campaigns. An estimated 50 million to 80 million people died from unnatural causes in China. I then ask them to withdraw from the Party.

I also point out that China has 5,000 years of civilization and traditional culture. The CCP has destroyed countless ancient artifacts, and killed people. Besides the destruction of countless lives, the CCP also destroyed the souls of the Chinese people. All the social issues in China such as toxic milk power and corruption are caused by the deteriorating moral standards instilled by the CCP.

Some people accept what I say, but some curse me.

When this happens, I usually don't argue; instead I send forth righteous thoughts. I phone them a few days later. Most people have calmed down and thought about what I told them. They're often ready to accept the truth when I call again.

I also realized that it is very important to clarify the truth to these poisoned people. They are all precious beings coming from heaven to obtain the Fa. Dafa disciples are their only hope of having awakened their conscience. If we give up on them, hundreds of millions of lives will be eliminated.

After coming to this realization, I changed my mindset and stopped thinking these poisoned people were hopeless. The longer they listen, the closer they are to being awakened. At least what I tell them can lay a solid foundation to be awakened the next time they come across a practitioner.

I realized that I was self-centered and had a big ego when I thought people should immediately agree to quit the CCP when I talk to them. The most poisoned ones need to hear the truth more.

Writing Is a Cultivation Process

I have recently been drafting transcripts for the team. This is a process of cultivation. I felt confident because I have years of experience in clarifying the truth to people. In addition, my major was political theory, so I was good at writing articles. I thought my draft was good, and I did not want anyone to revise it. I complained several times when the coordinators edited my writings.

After this kept happening, I felt I needed to look inward. After I submitted my draft, I did not look at the final version at all.

When a coordinator made a significant revision to my article, I was upset. I thought it was a waste of my time because he made so many revisions. When I read his version, I realized it was good. It was solid and written from another perspective. I decided I needed to let go of my attachment to self.

“So what's their state of mind? It's tolerance, an extremely immense tolerance, being able to accept other beings, and being able to truly think from other beings' perspectives. This is something a lot of you haven't achieved yet in your cultivation, but you're gradually catching on and achieving it. When another God proposes an idea, they aren't eager to reject it, and they aren't eager to express their own ideas and they don't believe that their own ideas are good. Instead, they look at what the end result of the other God's proposed approach will be. The paths are different--everyone's path is different--and the truths that beings validate and enlighten to in the Fa are different, too, but the results might very well be the same. That's why they look at the results, and if the result of a God's idea can achieve the goal, if it can truly achieve it, then all of them will go along with it. That's how Gods think. Also, if there's something lacking in it they'll unconditionally and quietly supplement it to make things more complete and perfect. That's how they handle things.” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.,” Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. II)

I realized that there must be a reason why Master arranged for that practitioner to be the coordinator. I should cooperate with him. Moreover, the notion of thinking highly of myself was jealousy. Maybe his writing was not as professional as mine. Since Master arranged for him to be the coordinator, I should assist him unconditionally.

The transcript writing project became smoother when I improved myself. The coordinator sent my articles to some websites so they could awaken the conscience of more people. I also was asked to make suggestions on other articles.
