Two Falun Gong Practitioners Tortured in Liaoning Women’s Prison

January 25, 2020 |   By a Minghui correspondent in Liaoning Province, China

(Minghui.org) Two Falun Gong practitioners serving time at Liaoning Women’s Prison are now being tortured every day for not renouncing their faith.

Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is a spiritual discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.

Ms. Chen Shuying, reportedly from Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province, developed some medical conditions after being abused in the prison and was sent to the prison hospital. Because of doing Falun Gong meditation there, the guards tied her to a bed without bedding or comforter in a spread-eagle position. They refuse to release her even when she needs to relieve herself.

Ms. Zhou Yafang, around 50 and of Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province, is serving a six-year term at the 7th ward in the prison.

Because she shouted “Falun Dafa is good” on November 17 and December 5, 2019, Ding Fengjun, the inmate assigned to monitor her, taped her mouth and injured her face.

Now Ms. Zhou is abused by Ding every day.

Since the communist regime initiated the persecution of Falun Gong, the Liaoning Women’s Prison has been brutally torturing the practitioners in order to force them to renounce their faith, including electric shock, force feedings, tying in excruciating positions and sexual abuse. At least 36 practitioners were confirmed to have been persecuted to death there.
