Malignant Tumor Disappeared

(Minghui.org) My parents began practicing Falun Dafa in 1998. I was nine years old, and just following along without much understanding of the Fa. After I graduated from college in 2011, I stopped studying the Fa and doing the exercises.

Diagnosed with Terminal Illness

I began working in a private company as an accountant in March of 2017. The owner of the company was a kindhearted woman. She took me under her wing and treated me as if I were her child. She noticed that I went to the bathroom often and asked what was wrong. I told her that I had frequent bowel movements, which were not solid, but often had a lot of pus or blood. She became concerned and persuaded me to see a doctor.

I went with her to the provincial capital city for business on December 19, 2018. She took me for an exam in the provincial hospital. The doctor discussed the result with my boss, but not with me.

It is common practice in China, that a doctor would break the bad news to family members or relatives, but not tell the patient. Confidentiality was not a strict requirement.

When I returned I saw her eyes were red, as if she had cried. I asked her what went wrong, and she told me everything was fine. She was unusually quiet on the way home.

My boss told my parents the serious nature of my illness: I had colon cancer. The tumor was the size of an egg and only seven centimeters away from my anus. The oncologist told my boss that I needed immediate surgery, and would have to carry a colostomy bag for the rest of my life since they could not save my anus. My parents called me into the room and broke the news to me. It was a terminal illness and I was only in my 20s! The fear overwhelmed me.

Awakening

My mother consoled me: “If it is a tumor then cut it off. Let us go seek medical treatment. It is not a big deal.” However, she also suggested that I practice Falun Dafa again, and my illness might disappear. Her words awakened me, and I decided to return on the cultivation path.

The next day was December 20. My brother drove my father, my boss and me to the hospital again. My father talked with the oncologist, and they scheduled my examination date for December 26.

My boss visited me the day before the exam. She realized that I neither wanted to have the exam nor the surgery. But she persuaded me to have the exam. We talked for a long time that evening. On the next morning, she prompted me to go again. My father and brother also urged me to go.

My mother said, “You are an adult, and you have to make your own choice. If you go to the hospital, the insurance will cover most of the bill. I have no objection. If you want to learn Falun Dafa, I have no objection either.” I decided to practice Dafa and not go to the hospital.

My boss was furious, and she yelled at my mother: “She has colon cancer! Her life is in danger, look at her, her skin is yellow!”

My mother gently consoled my boss: “I know you care a great deal for my daughter, and I really appreciate that. She is lucky to have someone like you, who is so caring and loving. But she is an adult, and we have to respect her wish.”

After my boss left, my mother said: “It is precious that you chose Falun Dafa. However, there is so much interference at home. If you are determined to cultivate, we need to go to a fellow practitioner's home. If you still want to go to the hospital, I will take you.” I told my mother that I was determined to go back on the cultivation path.

I did the Falun Dafa exercises, and listened to the Falun Dafa founder, Master Li Hongzhi's lectures. Two days later, I noticed that my bowel movement consisted of polyps the size of a pea, a cluster of them along with blood and pus. I had those for several days.

Concerned Boss and Relatives

My boss was so concerned about my health that she told my other relatives, including my uncles and aunts, as well as their children, about my condition. They called and texted me, telling me that my boss was willing to pay for my treatment. Since I did not reply to them, they threatened to call the police.

My mother replied to them in the end: “I really appreciate your loving and caring feelings toward my daughter. I raised her for 20 years, and I would not put her life at risk. You have misunderstandings about Falun Dafa, and I will not argue with you. My daughter will be fine, do not worry.”

Half a month later, my boss arranged for another examination for me in the provincial hospital without my knowledge. She insisted that I go with her this time. I had no choice but to go with her. It turned out that the egg-sized tumor was gone!

A month later, I took some of my stool samples for an exam. The result indicated that I had some inflammation in my intestines, but no cancer.

From Misunderstanding to Believing in Falun Dafa

My health is getting better day by day. My bowel movements are normal. The yellow complexion of the skin disappeared. When others asked about my illness, I proudly told them that Falun Dafa restored me to good health.

After witnessing my recovery, my boss and relatives also changed, from the initial objection, or even wanting to call the police, to slowly accepting, acknowledging and believing in Dafa. They urged me to study the Fa and exercise daily.

My parents were delighted and said: “A malignant tumor the size of an egg disappeared in a month!”

My aunt told her neighbor: “If I had not witnessed it, I really would not have believed it! Falun Dafa is wonderful!”

My cousin said to me: “You Falun Dafa practitioners are amazing!”

When my uncle came to inquire about my health, my mother told him that I was completely recovered. He was relieved: “I am so glad she is healthy now. If she had opted for surgery, she might have to carry the colostomy bag for the rest of her life.”

He had colon cancer and its associated surgery. His colon was shortened and he had a lot of complications afterwards.

I am deeply grateful for Master giving me a brand new life. Master eliminated so much karma for me. I regret that I did not cherish Dafa in the past and did not cultivate well. I am so fortunate that Master did not give up on me.

I understand how supreme the path of Dafa is. I am one of the most fortunate beings in the cosmos! I will diligently cultivate to pay back Master's compassionate salvation.
