1. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Song Yan and Three Other Practitioners Arrested

Four practitioners were studying the teachings of Falun Gong together at Ms. Jiang’s home in the dormitories of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences on July 8, 2019, including Ms. Jiang, 72; Ms. Song Yan, 55; Ms. Wang, 75; and Ms. Cao, about 80. Officers from the Quanfu Police Station in Licheng District broke into Ms. Jiang’s home, ransacked it and arrested the practitioners in the afternoon. They also confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong, Dafa books, Minghui Weekly publications, and paper currency bills with Falun Gong information printed on them.

Ms. Song was held in the Jinan City Detention Center for ten days of detention.

2. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Shude Abused in Prison

Mr. Zhang Shude was sentenced to seven years in prison, and is being held in the Dongling Prison in Shenyang City. His mother went to visit him on July 11, 2019, and learned that he had been tortured.

Mr. Zhang was shocked with two electric batons for two hours by Zhang Baining, warden of the No. 5 Ward, and guard Fan Yanfeng on June 11, 2019. Fan also used the sole of his shoes to continuously slap Mr. Zhang on the face. Mr. Zhang’s eardrum was perforated. Afterwards, the guards assigned criminal inmates to force Mr. Zhang to do hard labor.

3. [Nenjiang County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Hongbin Taken Into Custody

Mr. Wang Hongbin from the Rongjun Farm, Nenjiang County, was arrested by the Jiusan Reclamation Administration Police Department at the Jiusan Train Station in late June 2019. He was held in the Nenjiang Detention Center.

4. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Shunqin Arrested

Ms. Li Shunqin was arrested by officers from the Beiguan Police Station on July 17, 2019.

5. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Mr. You Huifu Arrested

Mr. You Huifu was arrested and his home was ransacked by Domestic Security officers on July 15, 2019.

6. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Six Practitioners Arrested

Practitioners Mr. Wang Shouyi, Ms. Jiao Xifang, Ms. Yu Wenli, Ms. Wang Shuzhi, and Ms. Yang Yiqin, from Fengrun District, were arrested by officers from the Wangguanying Police Station for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Wangguanying Town Farmers Market on the morning of July 17, 2019. They were held in the police station.

Ms. Yang and Ms. Yu’s homes were ransacked that afternoon. Ms. Yang’s daughters, Ms. Zhao Dongmei and Ms. Zhao Xiumei, were also arrested and taken to the Taipinglu Police Station. The officers confiscated Falun Dafa books and DVDs from Ms. Yu’s home.

Ms. Yang and Ms. Yu were released that day for failing their physical exam. The other three practitioners were taken to the Fengrun District Detention Center.

Ms. Sun Xiaofeng, in her 70s, was arrested by officers from the Linyinlu Police Station on the morning of July 17, 2019, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was forced into the police car and taken to the police station.

7. [Huaiyang County, Henan Province] Mr. Feng Haijing Arrested

Mr. Feng Haijing was arrested by officers from the Laozhong Town Police Station when he was talking to people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of July 16, 2019.

8. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Shumin Taken Into Custody

Ms. Liu Shumin, 55, from Ershilipu Village, Gudian Township, was arrested at home by Chief Cui Xinyong and more than 20 officers from the Wangdu County Police Department on July 11, 2019. They ransacked her home, and confiscated a printer, a computer, a cell phone, and over 9,000 yuan in cash. Ms. Liu was taken to the Baoding City Detention Center.

9. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Yufang Arrested

A plainclothes officer broke into Ms. Li Yufang’s home and ransacked it on the morning of July 2, 2019. The officer confiscated Falun Dafa books, music players, a cell phone, and cash. Ms. Li was taken to the Juchenghe Police Station, interrogated, and forced to sign some papers. The officers also tried to extort 2,000 yuan from Ms. Li’s husband, but he refused to cooperate. Ms. Li was released that afternoon.

10. [Jing County, Hebei Province] Mr. Ma Guixin’s Home Ransacked

Mr. Ma Guixin’s home was ransacked at noon on July 18, 2019.

11. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yi Xiaoqin Arrested

Ms. Yi Xiaoqin was arrested by officers from the Shenyang City Criminal Investigation Bureau on the afternoon of July 10, 2019. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated a notebook computer, a printer, a cell phone, and Falun Dafa books. They also confiscated her mother’s ID card, salary card, and bus card.

12. [Beijing] Mr. Wang Shuxiang and Ms. Zang Yuzhen Taken Into Custody

Mr. Wang Shuxiang and his wife Ms. Zang Yuzhen were arrested at home by officers from the Beixinqiao Police Station, Dongcheng District, on the evening of July 17, 2019. They were transferred to the Dongcheng District Detention Center the following morning.

13. [Rongcheng City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Chengshan Town residents Ms. Ge Zengzhen, Ms. Cong Peijun, and Ms. Yuan Xiaojing were arrested by officers from the Gangxi Town Police Station when they were talking to people about Falun Gong on July 15, 2019. They were taken to the Rongcheng City Detention Center.

14. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Qiao Fangtian Detained

Mr. Qiao Fangtian was arrested by officers from the Dagang Police Station for talking to people about Falun Gong on July 18, 2019. He is being held in the police station. The officers ransacked Mr. Qiao’s home in the afternoon and confiscated Falun Dafa books, an MP3 audio player, and a notebook computer.

15. [Nong’an County, Jilin Province] Ms. Feng Zhanling and Two Other Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Feng Zhanling; Ms. Han Shuqin, 65; and Ms. Li Xiuxiang, 70; were reported to the police for talking to people about Falun Gong on the morning of July 8, 2019. They were arrested by officers from the Gucheng Police Station, Nong’an Town. Ms. Han and Ms. Li were released for failing the physical exam, while Ms. Feng was taken to the Weizigou Detention Center for 15 days of detention.

16. [Luoyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Song Fengzhi Arrested

Ms. Song Fengzhi, 67, was arrested at home and taken to the Mangshan Police Station by officer Li Hui from the Mangshan Domestic Security Division on the morning of July 18, 2019. Ms. Song’s home was ransacked. Li refused to let Ms. Song’s daughter meet with her on the day of the arrest. Ms. Song has returned home.

17. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Taken Into Custody

Four practitioners were reported to the authorities for distributing Falun Gong materials on the evening of July 13, 2019, including Mr. Wang Huaiping, 68; Ms. Liu Yuzhen, 55; Mr. Yang Rui, 56; and Mr. Hao Zhiming, in his 30s. They were then arrested by officers from the Linzhang County Domestic Security Division, and taken to the county detention center the following morning. Mr. Hao’s blood pressure was higher than 180mmHg at the time.

18. [Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Huang Xuefen Arrested

Ms. Huang Xuefen was arrested on June 30, 2019. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

19. [Beijing] Mr. Bao Shouzhi Detained

Mr. Bao Shouzhi was arrested by officers from the Donghuashi Police Station, Dongcheng District, on July 16, 2019. He is being held in the Dongcheng Detention Center.

20. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Mr. Gao Xingtai and Ms. Li Guibin Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Gao Xiangtai, 66, from Shimenzhai Town, Haigang District, was sentenced to a seven-year prison term and fined 20,000 yuan by the Changli County Court on July 16, 2019. Ms. Li Guibin, 76, was sentenced to four years in prison and fined 10,000 yuan.

21. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Lu Wenshuang, head of the Tongjiang City Domestic Security Division, arrested Ms. Zhou Guizhen, her husband Mr. Tian Zhongyu, and a disabled practitioner Mr. Cheng Guilin (50 years old) from Tongjiang City on the afternoon of July 17, 2019.

Ms. Liang Qinhuai, 70, and another practitioner with the surname Chen were arrested after grocery shopping on the morning of July 18, 2019. Their homes were ransacked.
