1. [Xingcheng City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhao Hongmei Mistreated in Detention Center

Ms. Zhao Hongmei is being held in the Huludao Detention Center. She was vomiting blood, so the detention center staff notified her family to send money for medical treatment.

2. [Yuexi County, Sichuan Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Li Yusen, 84, Mr. Hu Shuangfei, in his 50s, Ms. Meng Xianhui, Ms. Ding Longfen, and Ms. Geng Daofen were arrested on July 14, 2019.

Ms. Meng, Ms. Ding, and Ms. Geng were later released. Mr. Li and Mr. Hu are being held in the county detention center.

3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Pan Yongjun and His Wife Ms. Zhang Qiang Detained

Mr. Pan Yongjun and his wife Ms. Zhang Qiang from the Luyuan District were arrested at home by officers from the Kuancheng District Police Department and the Xisantiao Police Station on the morning of July 19, 2019. Their home was ransacked.

Both practitioners were placed under criminal detention. Mr. Pan is being held in the Changchun City No. 1 Detention Center. Ms. Zhang is being held in the Changchun No. 4 Detention Center.

4. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Guo Xiuhua Arrested

Ms. Guo Xiuhua was arrested on July 27, 2019, for talking to people about Falun Gong.

5. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Hu Yongying and Ms. Gong Damei Arrested

Ms. Hu Yongying was arrested by officers from the Xihu District Police Department and the Donghu District Police Department on July 18, 2019. Ms. Gong Damei was arrested by officers from the Donghu Police Department on July 26.

6. [Chongqing] Ms. Yu Chufang Arrested

Ms. Yu Chufang, in her 60s, from the Kaizhou District, was arrested recently in Lichuan City, Hubei Province, for using paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them.

7. [Chongqing] Sixteen Practitioners Arrested

Sixteen practitioners from the Lanxigu area of the Shapingba District were arrested at Ms. Wen Tingyu’s home by officers from the Shapingba Police Department and Domestic Security Division on July 23, 2019, when they were studying the Falun Gong teachings together.

Practitioners who are 70 years or older were released that evening.

Ms. Zhao Jiayu, Ms. Yu Jizhen, Ms. Yang Meili, Mr. Zhou Dulun, and Ms. Luo were taken to the Qingmuguan Detention Center.

Ms. Zhao Shuxia was taken to the Beijing Brainwashing Center on July 20, 2019.

9. [Hunchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Shumei Detained

Ms. Li Shumei, in her 70s, was arrested at home on July 26, 2019. She was taken to a detention center.

Ms. Chu Yan from the Bohai Oil Company, Binhai New Area, was arrested by officers from the Dagu Police Station on July 20, 2019. Her home was ransacked. She is being held in the Tanggu Detention Center.

11. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Peng Xiaolan Arrested

Ms. Peng Xiaolan was arrested on the evening of July 29, 2019. The police ransacked her home and confiscated a computer, printer, DVD burner, cell phone, Falun Dafa books, and paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them.

12. [Luanzhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Guotian Arrested

Mr. Li Guotian from Xinzhuangzi Village, Zhenzi Town, was arrested on the afternoon of July 18, 2019. He was taken to the Zhenzi Police Station.

13. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Fangshu Detained

Ms. Zhang Fangshu was arrested by officers from the Heyan Police Station on July 24, 2019. She was taken to the Hengshui City Detention Center for 15 days.

14. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Su Min Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Su Min from the Shuncheng District was arrested on November 1, 2018. She was tried by the Shuncheng Court in the Fushun City Detention Center on the morning of May 27, 2019. She was sentenced to one year in prison and fined 5,000 yuan on July 23.
