1. [Beijing] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Li Baoqin and Ms. Hao Qiuying from Tulou Village, Machikou Town in the Changping District, were followed and arrested on July 10, 2019, when they were posting information about Falun Gong. They are being held in the local police station.

Ms. He Chunying from the Xicheng District was photographed by surveillance cameras when she was distributing information about Falun Gong. She was arrested by officers from the Guang’anmenwai Police Station in Xicheng on July 12. Her home was ransacked, and Falun Gong books, printed materials, a printer, and cell phone were confiscated. Ms. He remains in custody.

2. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Shuxia Detained

Ms. Zhao Shuxia, 65, was arrested in Beijing on June 21, 2019, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She is being held in the Chaoyang District Detention Center.

3. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Ms. Dong Lihong, Ms. Liu Shumei, Ms. Cheng Yanping, and Ms. Zhang were arrested on July 8, 2019, for talking to people about Falun Gong. They are being held in a detention center.

Ms. Zheng Suhua was arrested at home on July 5, 2019. Her whereabouts are unknown.

5. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Deng Chuanjiu Sentenced to a Four-Year Prison Term

Mr. Deng Chuanjiu was tried and sentenced to a four-year prison term by the Pengzhou City Court on July 9, 2019.

6. [Jiangyou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xu Zhouhui Detained

Ms. Xu Zhonghui from Wudu Town was arrested by Cao Huajun, Liu Chengyi, and other officers from the Jiangyou City Domestic Security Division on the afternoon of July 11, 2019. Her Falun Gong books, printed materials, and cash were confiscated.

Ms. Xu was taken to the Mianyang City Detention Center.

7. [Tianjin] Four Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Liu Wenrong was arrested at home by officers from the Wanxing Police Station and the Nankai District Police Department on the morning of June 6, 2019. He is being held in the Nankai Detention Center.

Ms. Gao Shuying, 70, Ms. Liu Bizhu, 78, and Ms. Su Bingqin, 78, from Dongpuwa Township in the Wuqing District, were arrested by officers from the Development Zone Police Station in Wuqing on July 10. The officers confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong, computers, Falun Gong books, and 1,000 yuan in paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them. Ms. Gao is being held in the Wuqing Detention Center.

8. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Six Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Huang Yuqing, in her 50s, and another practitioner with the family name Zhou were arrested on July 9, 2019.

Ms. Han Yuming and Ms. Jiao Guifang from Chaohu City were arrested on June 10. They are being held in the Hefei City Detention Center.

Ms. Guan Suhua, 85, was arrested by officers from the Luyang District 610 Office, and Wuhulu Police Station on July 11. Her home was ransacked. She was taken to the Anqinglu Police Station.

Ms. Xu Xiaoxian, 55, was arrested by officers from the Datonglu Police Station in the Yaohai District on July 12. She was taken to a detention center for 15 days.

9. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Mr. Hu Jinping Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Hu Jinping was arrested at home on September 29, 2018. He was taken to a detention center, where he was tried on June 11, 2019.

Mr. Hu was sentenced to an 18-month prison term by Wang Qin, a judge from the Lanshan District Court, on June 27.

10. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Lu Youzhi Detained

Ms. Lu Youzhi, from Longshan Town in the Zhangqiu District, was arrested by officers from the Zaoyuan Police Station on July 12, 2019, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was taken to the Jinan City Detention Center

11. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Jianmei Taken to Prison

Ms. Chen Jianmei, 63, from the Linzi District, was sentenced to a three-and-a-half-year prison term by the Zichuan Court. She was taken to the Jinan Women's Prison.

12. [Boxing County, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Yuzhen's Case Turned Over to Procuratorate

Ms. Zhang Yuzhen, a clerk at the Boxing County branch of the People's Bank of China, was arrested by officer Wu Liang, from the Boxing Domestic Security Division, and others on April 21, 2019.

Ms. Zhang was taken to the Binzhou Detention Center, She was officially placed under arrest, and her case has been turned over to the Boxing Procuratorate.

13. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Pan Shuihua Detained

Ms. Pan Shuihua was arrested by plainclothes officers on the morning of July 9, 2019, for talking to people about Falun Gong. Her Falun Gong books and printed materials were confiscated.

Ms. Pan was taken to the Huibu Police Department, and later transferred to the Jimo No. 2 Detention Center.

14. [Qi County, Shanxi Province] Twelve Practitioners Severely Beaten in Prison

Yang Chunsheng, head of the No. 15 Ward of the Qi County Prison, instigated Qi Peizhi and other inmates to beat Falun Gong practitioners.

Four of Mr. Wang Yijun’s ribs were broken, and his left eardrum was perforated. He is also unable to control his bowel movements, as a result of the beatings.

Eleven other practitioners sustained injures to their bodies and faces as a result of beatings. They include, Mr. Li Jianwu, Mr. Yang Bin, Mr. Zhang Xisheng, Mr. Zhao Yijun, Mr. Yang Miao, Mr. Ma Zhanguo, Mr. Xia Runtang, Mr. Zhang Yanbing, Mr. Tian Yunfei, Mr. Xue Fugui, and Mr. Zhen Hao.

15. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Mr. Ma Minqing, in his 40s, his mother Ms. Wang Xuezhen, 79, and Ms. Zhang Hui, in her 60s, were followed and arrested by officers from the No. 2 Criminal Investigation Team of the Public Transportation Police Department, on the morning of July 9, 2019. They are being held in the Guangzhou City No. 1 Detention Center.

Mr. Zeng Jiageng, 77, from the Haizhu District, was arrested at home by officers from the Transportation Police Department on the afternoon of July 10. His residence was ransacked. He is also being held in the Guangzhou No. 1 Detention Center.

16. [Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Li Rongfeng Arrested

Fourteen officers from the Guangzhou City Domestic Security Division, Chaozhou City Police Department, and the local police station broke into Mr. Li Rongfeng’s daughter’s home in the Chaonan District and ransacked it on the morning of July 8, 2019. Mr. Li was arrested.

17. [Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhang Yani and Mr. Yu Haohui Arrested

Ms. Zhang Yani from Sihui City was arrested by agents from the local 610 Office on July 3, 2019. She was taken to the Dongcheng Police Station.

Mr. Yu Haohui from the Gaoyao District was arrested on the same day. He is being held in the Gaoyao Detention Center.

18. [Nantong City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Kang Naiyi Detained

Ms. Kang Naiyi, 77, from the Tongzhou District, was followed and arrested by officers from the Tongzhou Domestic Security Division on the afternoon of June 19, 2019. Her home was ransacked, and Falun Gong books were confiscated.

Ms. Kang is being held in the Nantong City Detention Center.

19. [Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wang Huizhen Placed Under Criminal Detention

Ms. Wang Huizhen was arrested by a security guard on the morning of June 22, 2019, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was taken to the Zhengdonglu Police Station, and released that evening.

When Ms. Wang was called in to the police station to sign their paperwork, she was arrested and placed in criminal detention. She is being held in the Zhenjiang City Detention Center.

20. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Wang Weiqing Detained

Mr. Wang Weiqing was arrested by director Liu Zhihong and political head Huang Zenghui from the Penpu Police Station, and Xiong Yaping, deputy head of the Domestic Security Division in the Xunyang District on June 11, 2019. He was taken to the Jiujiang City Detention Center.

21. [Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Gui Caihua Detained

Ms. Gui Caihua was arrested by officers from the Donghu Police Station on the morning of July 10, 2019, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was taken to the Yingtan City Detention Center for 15 days.

22. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Mr. Cai Chang’an Detained

Mr. Cai Chang’an from Shunping County was arrested at home by officers from the Chengguan Town Police Station on the afternoon of July 12, 2019. He was detained for ten days.

23. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Yali Detained

Ms. Liu Yali from Yongqing County was reported to the police on July 4, 2019, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was arrested by officers from the Beixinliu Police Station on the morning of July 10, and is being detained for 20 days.

24. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Li Yanhua and other practitioners from Weichang Manchu and Mongol Autonomous County were arrested by officers from the Weichang Domestic Security Division on the afternoon of July 13, 2019. Their homes were ransacked.

25. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Hong and Mr. Liu Guoping Detained

Ms. Wang Hong and Mr. Liu Guoping were arrested by officers from the Zhangguantun Township Police Station on the evening of July 7, 2019, for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong.

Both practitioners were taken to the Cangzhou City Detention Center

26. [Renqiu City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Chun’e Detained

Ms. Wang Chun’e from the Huabei Oilfield was arrested on July 11, 2019. Her home was ransacked. She was taken to the Baoding City Detention Center.

27. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Zuo Hongtao, Mr. Wu Wenzhang, Mr. Li Guoai, and Mr. Liu Changfu were tried by the Changli County Court in January 2019. They appealed to the Qinhuangdao City Intermediate Court, which upheld the original verdicts on June 7 without a hearing.

Mr. Zuo was sentenced to a 13-year prison term, Mr. Wu was sentenced to an 11-year prison term, Mr. Li was sentenced to a ten-year prison term, and Mr. Liu was sentenced to an eight-year prison term.

28. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Tian Xingbao Sentenced to a Ten-Year Prison Term

Mr. Tian Xingbao was sentenced to a ten-year prison term and fined 50,000 yuan. He appealed to the Hengshui City Intermediate Court. His lawyer recently notified Mr. Tian's family that the appeal had been rejected, and the original verdict was upheld.

Mr. Tian was taken to the Baoding Prison on June 17, 2019.

29. [Anyang County, Henan Province] Ms. Qin Xianghua Detained

Ms. Qin Xianghua, 64, from Xiaozhai Village, Xujiagou Township, was arrested at home on July 4, 2019. She was taken to the Anyang County Detention Center.

30. [Pingdingshan City, Henan Province] Ms. Yao Weini Arrested

Ms. Yao Weini was arrested by agents from the local 610 Office in early July 2019.

31. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. He Xiaoling Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. He Xiaoling was arrested on May 4, 2019. She was held in the Wuhan City Women's Detention Center for ten days, and then transferred to the Hunan Brainwashing Center in the Wuchang District.

32. [Gong’an County, Hubei Province] Mr. Li Yuehu's Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Li Yuehu was arrested by officers from the Zhangtian Police Station on the evening of July 10, 2019. His whereabouts are unknown.

33. [Longshan County, Hunan Province] Ms. Tian Xiaohong Facing Trial

Ms. Tian Xiaohong, who now lives in Japan, returned to her hometown in Longshan County, Hunan Province, for her daughter’s wedding. She was followed after mailing Falun Gong informational materials, and was arrested by officers from the Tongche Police Station on April 1, 2019. She is facing trial.

34. [Liuyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Yang Shuzhen and Ms. Yan Donglian Arrested

Ms. Yang Shuzhen and Ms. Yan Donglian were arrested on the morning of July 10, 2019, for talking to people about Falun Gong. They were taken to the Huaichuan Police Station, and have since returned home.

35. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Yang Ping was arrested by officers from the Dalian City Police Department and plainclothes officers from the Dalianwan Police Station on the morning of July 10, 2019. Photos of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Gong books, a computer, and printer were confiscated. Ms. Yang is being held in the Dalian Detention Center.

Ms. Xie Huixian from the Lushunkou District was arrested at home by officers from the Shichang Police Station in Lushunkou on the morning of July 10. Falun Gong books, a computer, and printer were confiscated. Ms. Xie is being held in the Yaojia Detention Center.

Mr. Ding Guochen and his wife from the Jinfang area were arrested by officers from the Xianjin Police Station in the Jinzhou District on July 10. Their home was ransacked. Mr. Ding is being held in the Jinzhou Detention Center. His wife was released.

Mr. Zhang Bo from Zhuanghe City was arrested at a train station by plainclothes officers on the afternoon of July 11, for talking to people about Falun Gong. He is being held in the Yaojia Detention Center.

36. [Xinbin County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhao Guifen Detained

Ms. Zhao Guifen from Najia Village, Xinbin Town, was arrested by Sheng Guozhu, head of the Xinbin County Domestic Security Division, and others on the morning of July 10, 2019. Her home was ransacked.

Ms. Zhao was taken to the Fushun City Detention Center.

37. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Li Shuping was arrested at home by officers from the Heping District Police Department on the afternoon of July 10, 2019. Her home was ransacked.

Mr. Mou Le, Ms. Zhang Baohua, 38, and Ms. Yao Xiulan were also arrested.

38. [Chongqing] Mr. Wu Zhiqun's Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Wu Zhiqun, 71, a retiree from the No. 4 Heavy Cotton Factory in the Dongjintuo Area, Hechuan District, was arrested by plainclothes officers on the morning of July 10, 2019, when he was distributing Falun Gong materials. Two cell phones and Falun Gong books were confiscated.

Mr. Wu’s whereabouts are unknown.

39. [Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Zhang Peng and Mr. Wang Yuchao's Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Zhang Peng, 35, and Mr. Wang Yuchao, about 26, were arrested at home in late June 2019. The police confiscated computers, printers, and other personal belongings. Both practitioners’ whereabouts are unknown.

40. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Zang and Mr. Yuan Huiwu Arrested

Ms. Zang was arrested at home on July 9, 2019. Her whereabouts are unknown.

Mr. Yuan Huiwu was arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division on July 12. His home was ransacked, and photos of the founder of Falun Gong and Falun Gong books were confiscated.

41. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Shaozhi Sentenced to a Five-Year Prison Term

Mr. Li Shaozhi was arrested in 2017, and was sentenced to a five-year prison term on May 10, 2019. He has appealed to the Changchun City Intermediate Court.

42. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Lu Guanru and Ms. Ren Yuhong Hospitalized

Ms. Lu Guanru was sentenced to a seven-year prison term by the Ranghulu District Court on June 6, 2019. She went on a hunger strike, and has been hospitalized due to internal bleeding in her stomach.

Ms. Ren Yuhong was arrested on July 10. She was also hospitalized.
