(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners participate in local community events to introduce the practice and to raise awareness of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution. During these events, practitioners typically demonstrate the exercises, clarify the truth, and collect signatures from people who wish to condemn the persecution.

Diversity Cultural Festival in Veenendaal, Netherlands, Features Falun Gong
Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate in the diversity cultural festival in Veenendaal, the Netherlands on June 30, 2019. Despite the heat, many people participated in the popular event. There was an international fashion show, multicultural cuisine, dancing, and poetry. Practitioners demonstrated the exercises and played the waist drums.

Practitioners distributed lotus flowers and Falun Gong flyers. Many people were shocked to learn of the CCP’s state-sanctioned live organ harvesting.
Julia said she felt horrible about the live organ harvesting. She said she'd heard that the CCP was bad but she did not know it was so evil. She supported the practitioners’ efforts to end the persecution. She also said she would visit the Falun Gong website to learn more about the practice.
Health Expo in Johns Creek, Georgia
Falun Gong practitioners participated in a health expo held in Johns Creek, Georgia, on June 27, 2019. About 70 business groups participated in the expo. Johns Creek is a northeast suburb of Atlanta.

Local residents Mr. Don Neder and Ms. Gail Neder stopped to watch practitioners demonstrate the exercises and began to follow along.
Mr. Neder said, “When I walked past the Falun Gong stand, I felt that this exercise was very interesting and I wanted to know more.”
He said that he wished to learn more about a practice that could improve his thinking and health. He said that he felt great after he did the exercises.
When she learned that Falun Gong has been persecuted for 20 years in China, his wife Gail said, “This is terrible. Why aren't people allowed to practice Falun Gong? It's not right.”
Mr. and Mrs. Neder said they were interested in going to a local practice site, and a practitioner gave them a copy of Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Gong.
