Additional Persecution News from China – July 7, 2019 (12 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 20 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Huadian City, Jilin Province] 82-Year-Old Ms. Li Fengqin Arrested

1. [Huadian City, Jilin Province] 82-Year-Old Ms. Li Fengqin Arrested

Ms. Li Fengqin, 82, was spotted by a plainclothes police officer when she was posting Falun Gong materials on the afternoon of April 29, 2019. The officer immediately tore the materials down, and took her to the Minghua Police Station, where she was forced to sign paperwork.

Ms. Li was returned to her home, and her Falun Dafa books and materials were confiscated.

2. [Beijing] Ms. Gao Huilan and Ms. Xu Xiufen Detained

Ms. Gao Huilan, 69, from Beijiao Village, Fozizhuang Township, Fangshan City, was arrested by officers from the Qinglonghu Police Station on May 7, 2019, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was officially placed under arrest, and taken to the Tiangezhuang Detention Center.

Ms. Xu Xiufen was also detained.

3. [Chaohu City, Anhui Province] Ms. Jiao Guizhi Officially Arrested

Ms. Jiao Guizhi, 76, has been officially placed under arrest, and is being held in the Hefei City Detention Center.

4. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Mr. Yang Xiaoming was arrested at his rented house on the morning of July 3, 2019. Several officers ransacked the place and confiscated a printer, a glue binding machine worth 20,000 yuan, and other personal belongings.

Mr. Yang, Mr. Gao Zhencai, and Mr. Chen Lin, are being held in the Tangshan City No. 1 Detention Center.

5. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Naijun and Ms. Liu Lihua Arrested

Mr. Zhang Naijun and Ms. Liu Lihua were arrested by Dang Rongjia, a deputy director of the Shahe Police Station, on the afternoon of July 3, 2019.

6. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wu Fengzhen Arrested

Ms. Wu Fengzhen, 75, was arrested by the Liaoyuan police on the morning of July 3, 2019, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was taken to a detention center, but was not admitted because she had high blood pressure. She was released on bail after her daughter was forced to pay 10,000 yuan.

7. [Beijing] Mr. Fan Yijun Detained

Mr. Fan Yijun, from Sijiazhuang Village in the Changping District, was reported to the police for talking to people about Falun Gong on June 28, 2019. He was arrested, and is being held in a detention center.

8. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested, Several Practitioners’ Homes Ransacked

Mr. Guo Xudong from Xiliangzihe Village was arrested by Mou Aidong, head of the Zunhua City Domestic Security Division, and other officers on July 5, 2019. Mr. Guo's home was ransacked the following day.

The homes of Ms. Tian Shuxue and another practitioner with the last name Wang, in Buzidian Town, were ransacked by officers from the Buzidian Police Station on July 6.

Ms. Zhang Suling’s home in Xiaonianzhuang Village was ransacked.

Mr. Wang Kun from Tuanpiaozhuang Township was arrested, and his home ransacked.

9. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Huairong Displaced

About six to eight officers from the Xinglong County Domestic Security Division went to Ms. Zhao Huairong’s home and ransacked the place on the morning of July 6, 2019. They confiscated Falun Dafa books, a printer, and a safe. Ms. Zhao is now displaced.

10. [Kaifeng City, Henan Province] Ms. Wang Huiqin Detained

Ms. Wang Huiqin was caught on surveillance cameras when she was distributing information about Falun Gong, and arrested on July 2, 2019. The police ransacked her home and confiscated a computer, printer, Falun Dafa books, and some cash.

Ms. Wang is being held in the Kaifeng City Detention Center.

11. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Ruifeng Sentenced to a Five-Year Prison Term

Ms. Wang Ruifeng from Dahushan Town, Heishan County, was reported to the authorities for distributing Shen Yun DVDs in Qingtaipao Village on May 13, 2014. She was arrested by officers from the Heishan Police Department and Dahushan Police Station, and body searched. Her home was ransacked twice, and 7,600 yuan in paper bills with facts about Falun Gong printed on them and over 3,000 yuan in other cash were confiscated.

Ms. Wang was sentenced to a five-year prison term.

12. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Mr. Xie Baoming and His Wife Ms. Lin Xiuzhen Arrested

Officers from the Domestic Security Division and the Tongtiechang Town Police Station climbed over Mr. Xie Baoming’s wall with a ladder to enter his home, and arrested him and his wife Ms. Liu Xiuzhen, in Motun Village, in the early hours of July 6, 2019. They ransacked the couple’s home.

Mr. Xie was released later that day. Ms. Liu was taken to Zunhua City. Her whereabouts are unknown.
