1. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Shumin Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Zhang Shumin was sentenced to a three-year prison term by the Laizhou City Court on March 19, 2019.

2. [Qingcheng County, Gansu Province] Ms. He Xuerong Sentenced to Prison

Ms. He Xuerong, 60, was sentenced to an 18-month prison term by the Qingcheng County Court in May 2019. She has since appealed.

3. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. He Lifang in Critical Condition

Ms. He Lifang from the Jimo District is in critical condition as a result of persecution in the Pudong Detention Center. She was taken to the Chengyang District No. 3 Hospital on the morning of July 1, 2019. There are tubes down her throat.

Her sister asked that she be released, but no one has responded to her request.

4. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Shulan Arrested

Ms. Liu Shulan from the Shenbei District was arrested on the afternoon of July 1, 2019. Her home was ransacked.

5. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Xie Yujie’s Home Ransacked

Director Li and other officers from the Xinhua Police Department broke into Mr. Xie Yujie’s home on the evening of June 27, 2019. They confiscated his notebook computer, DVD player, tablet computer, Falun Gong books, and other personal belongings.

6. [Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Five Practitioners Taken to Prison

Ms. Gao Dinglian, Ms. Liu Chunlan, Ms. Yang Xiuli, Ms. Lu Fengxian, and Ms. Zhu Xiuming were transferred from the Heihe City Detention Center to the Training Ward of the Women’s Prison on January 30, 2019.

7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Sheng Xiangmei and Ms. Wang Yingjun Detained

Ms. Sheng Xiangmei and Ms. Wang Yingjun were arrested by officers from the Yongjijie Police Station in the Nanguan District on the afternoon of June 23, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

Ms. Wang is being held in the Changchun City Detention Center. Ms. Sheng is being held in the Changchun No. 4 Detention Center.

8. [Beijing] Mr. Liu Chongshun and Mr. Li Heping Detained

Mr. Liu Chongshun and Mr. Li Heping from the Chaoyang District were arrested by officers from the Xiaowuji Police Station on the morning of June 25, 2019. Computers, two printers, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, and Falun Gong books and materials were confiscated.

Mr. Liu and Mr. Li were taken to the Chaoyang Detention Center.

9. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yuan Mingju Arrested

Ms. Yuan Mingju, in her 70s, from Quetousunjia Village, Zhaoyuan Town, was arrested on the morning of June 30, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken to the Zhaoyuan Domestic Security Division.

10. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Jian Guilin Detained

Mr. Jian Guilin was arrested at home on June 26, 2019, by deputy director Jin Zhiquan and other officers from the Yongquan Township Police Station in the Chaisang District.

Mr. Jian is being held in the Chaisang Detention Center.

11. [Ruichang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Wang Jing and Ms. Chen Deju Arrested

Ms. Wang Jing and Ms. Chen Deju were arrested on the afternoon of June 27, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Wang was later released; Ms. Chen is being detained.

12. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Ms. He Xiuyun and Ms. Yang Linying Detained

Ms. He Xiuyun and Ms. Yang Linying were arrested by officers from the Guangchang Police Station in the Hecheng District on May 23, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are being held in the Zhongfang County Detention Center.

Mr. Wang Jinghao was arrested by Chengzhen Police Station officers on June 28, 2019. He is being held in the Hengshui Detention Center.

14. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhao Renxia Detained

Ms. Zhao Renxia was arrested by officers from the Qingdao Development Zone Police Department's Domestic Security Division on the afternoon of June 28, 2019. She is being held in the Pudong Detention Center.

15. [Dangshan County, Anhui Province] Ms. Xia Min Detained

Ms. Xia Min from Dangshan County was arrested by officers from the Dongguan Police Station in Zhangjiagang City on April 12, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in Zhangjiagang. Her home was ransacked, and a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Gong books, materials, and other personal belongings were confiscated.

Ms. Xia was taken to the Suzhou City No. 4 Detention Center.

16. [Jiujiang City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Wang Weiqing Detained

Mr. Wang Weiqing was arrested around June 20, 2019. He was taken to the Jiujiang County Detention Center.

17. [Chibi City, Hubei Province] Mr. Li Sibao and Ms. Zhu Xueying Detained

Mr. Li Sibao and Ms. Zhu Xueying, both in their 60s, were arrested by officers from the Chibi City Police Department on June 26, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are being held in the Chibi Detention Center.

18. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Mr. Chen Jianming and Ms. Zhang Yu’e Arrested

Mr. Chen Jianming and Ms. Zhang Yu’e from the Huangzhou District were arrested by officers from the Lukou Town Police Station on the morning of June 29, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

19. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Xie Yu Held in Brainwashing Center

Mr. Xie Yu from the Yuexiu District was released from the Haizhu District Detention Center on January 25, 2019. Instead of being allowed to go home, he was directly taken to the Guangzhou City Brainwashing Center by officers from the Yuexiu Police Department.

Mr. Xie has been held there for over five months.

20. [Qiannan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province] Ms. Cui Hong Taken to Prison

Ms. Cui Hong from Qiannan was arrested on March 30, 2018, and sentenced to two years in prison by the Dujun City Court. She was recently taken to the Guizhou Province No. 1 Women’s Prison.

21. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Anying Detained

Ms. Li Anying from the Jingyang District was arrested by officers from the Lushan Police Station on the morning of June 26, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Her purse was confiscated.

Ms. Li is being held in the Longfeng Village Detention Center in Shuangdong Town.

22. [Yilong County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Gong Qinglin’s Case Submitted to Procuratorate

Mr. Gong Qingli is being held in the Yilong County Detention Center. His case has been submitted to the Yilong Procuratorate.

23. [Pingshan County, Hebei Province] Ms. Yan Meiying Arrested

Officers from the Pingshan Town Police Station broke into Ms. Yan Meiying’s home in Xijie Village, Pingshan, on June 28, 2019. They confiscated a picture of the founder of Falun Gong and Falun Gong books.

Ms. Yan was taken to the Chengguan Police Station.

24. [Liangshan County, Shandong Province] Update on Ms. Yang Qiuju

Ms. Yang Qiuju was arrested by Yangying Town Police Station officers on the afternoon of June 15, 2019, after she was reported to the authorities for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Falun Gong books, materials, and other personal belongings were confiscated.

Ms. Yang was taken to the Jiaxiang Detention Center and released on June 28.

25. [Sanyuan County, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Wei Zaiqiang Sentenced; Mr. Li Yinmin Arrested

Mr. Wei Zaiqiang, who works at the Hongyuan Factory in Sanyuan County, was arrested on December 8, 2016, and held in the Gaoling District Detention Center in Xian City. He was tried in the Gaoling Court on November 21, 2017, and sentenced to a four-and-a-half-year prison term in March 2019. Mr. Wei has appealed to the Second Criminal Court in the Xi’an Intermediate Court.

Mr. Li Yinmin from the Fifth Village was recently arrested.

26. [Zhumadian City, Henan Province] Mr. Gao Zhiqi Detained

Mr. Gao Zhiqi was arrested by officers from the local Railroad Police Station on June 25, 2019. He is being held in the Hami City Detention Center.

27. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhang Lingmei, 77; Ms. Li Xiumei, 68; and Ms. Jiang Dailan, 71, all from the Huangpi District, were arrested by plainclothes officers on June 14, 2019, when they were distributing Falun Gong materials in the Jiahai Industry Park. They were taken to the Tenglong Police Station.

Ms. Zhang was released later that afternoon due to her poor health. Ms. Li and Ms. Jiang were held in the Wuhan City No.1 Detention Center for ten days.

At the end of that time, Ms. Li and Ms. Jiang were taken to the Wuhan City No.1 House of Detention. Their families have not been allowed to visit them.

28. [Donghuan City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Xiang Benzi Arrested

Mr. Xiang Benzi was arrested by officers from the Chang’an Town Police Department.

Ms. Li Huizhen was arrested by Wulipai Police Station officers on the afternoon of June 28, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in Meixin Village. She is being held in the Leiyang City Detention Center.

30. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Li Arrested

Ms. Liu Li from the Xindu District was arrested by officers from the Sanhe Town Police Station on June 28, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in Sanhe.
