Additional Persecution News from China – May 15, 2019 (9 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 6 provinces，where at least 17 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Xilinhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Hao Yuhua and Four Other Practitioners Detained
2. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhou Xiaoli's Sentence Was Changed to Be Served in Prison
3. [Tianjin] Ms. Feng Ruijuan Arrested
4. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Xiao Xianjin Arrested
5. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Tan Xiuying Arrested
6. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
7. [Kaiyuan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Huiyi Arrested; Mr. Liu Tiansheng's Home Ransacked
8. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Jia Ruiling and Ms. Wang Jinyun Arrested
9. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Geng Zhiying Detained

1. [Xilinhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Hao Yuhua and Four Other Practitioners Detained

Ms. Hao Yuhua and four other practitioners were arrested by Domestic Security officers on the evening of May 13, 2019. Their homes were ransacked.

The five practitioners are being held in a detention center.

2. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhou Xiaoli's Sentence Was Changed to Be Served in Prison

Ms. Zhou Xiaoli, in her 40s, was sentenced by the Fengman District Court several months ago, which was to be served at home. When she began her sentence, she was arrested again because she continued to practice Falun Dafa. Her term to be served at home was canceled, and she was taken to the Jilin Province Women's Prison.

3. [Tianjin] Ms. Feng Ruijuan Arrested

Ms. Feng Ruijung from Dagang Oilfield, Haibin New Area, was reported to the authorities for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was arrested by officers from the Zhi'an Police Station.

4. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Xiao Xianjin Arrested

Mr. Xiao Xianjin from Xitai Village was arrested by officers from the Zhuozhou City Police Department on May 11, 2019. His home was ransacked, and his cell phone confiscated.

Mr. Xiao is being held in the Songlindian Police Station.

5. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Tan Xiuying Arrested

Ms. Tan Xiuying, in her 60s, from the Qiaoxi District, was reported to the Hongqi Police Station for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was arrested.

6. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Ren Xinju from the Jizhou District was arrested by officers from the Shiqu Police Station when she was talking to people about Falun Gong on May 11, 2019.

The officers then broke into Mr. Li Haige's home, arrested him, and confiscated a notebook computer.

Ms. Li Zhijun's home was broken into on May 12 by the officers. She was arrested and is being held in the Hengshui Detention Center.

7. [Kaiyuan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Huiyi Arrested; Mr. Liu Tiansheng's Home Ransacked

Ms. Zhang Huiyi from Shanhou Village, Xiafeidi Town, was arrested by officers from the Kaiyuan City Domestic Security Division on May 7, 2019.

Mr. Liu Tiansheng, from Duanshanzi Village, Xiafeidi Town, had his home ransacked by officers from the Domestic Security on the afternoon of May 9. His Falun Dafa books and other personal belongings were confiscated.

8. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Jia Ruiling and Ms. Wang Jinyun Arrested

Ms. Jia Ruiling was arrested at home by officers from the Weiqu Police Station, Chang'an District, on the evening of April 4, 2019. Ms. Wang Jinyun was arrested at the same time. The officers deceived them to open the door, and ransacked the place without showing any documents.

Ms. Jia was officially placed under arrest on May 12, and is being held in the Xi'an Detention Center. Ms. Wang was released after being detained for 15 days.

9. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Geng Zhiying Detained

Mr. Geng Zhiying from the Shuangcheng District had been displaced for over a year when he was arrested at the Taiping Airport, seeing his brother off on May 5, 2019.

Mr. Geng is being held in the Shuangcheng Detention Center.
