(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 18 cities or counties in 10 provinces, where at least 40 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Yu Xiangjia Arrested

Mr. Yu Xiangjia was arrested at the train station when he was going out of town for business on May 24, 2019. His home was ransacked. His whereabouts are unknown.

2. [Gaobeidian City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Feng Detained

Mr. Wang Feng was arrested by officers from the Fangguan Police Station at noon on May 28, 2019. He is detained at Gaobeidian Detention Center.

3. [Baiyin City, Gansu Province] Mr. Gu Fuman Detained

Mr. Gu Fuman went to visit his parents in Acheng District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, on May 14, 2019. He was arrested by the railway police at Acheng District Train Station when his ID was checked. He was detained for five days.

4. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Chunhui Officially Arrested and Mr. Ding Jiwang Released

Mr. Li Chunhui was arrested by officers from the Guangming Police Station on April 25, 2019. He was officially placed under arrest by the Xing'an District Procuratorate.

Mr. Ding Jiwang was released and returned home on April 25, 2019, after 10,000 yuan was extorted from his family.

5. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Chuanhong Missing

Ms. Wang Chuanhong from Qingshi Town, Ji'an City, has been away from home for five years to avoid persecution, and her whereabouts are still unknown.

6. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Shifen and Ms. Lang Ruifen Arrested

Ms. Wang Shifen, 75, and Ms. Lang Ruifen, 77, from the High-tech Zone were arrested by officers from the Nanliu Town Police Station, Fangzi District, when they were talking to people about Falun Dafa on April 6, 2019. Their homes were ransacked. Both practitioners have returned home.

7. [Beijing] Mr. Ke Xingguo's Home Ransacked

Officers from the Wangshoulu Police Station, Haidian District, ransacked Mr. Ke Xingguo's home on the morning of May 23, 2019. They confiscated Falun Dafa books, a computer, two hard drives, and an MP4 player.

8. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yang Yuqiong Detained

Ms. Yang Yuqiong from Qionglai City was arrested on May 25, 2019. The police ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Dafa books, DVDs, a computer, a cell phone, and a printer. Ms. Yang is being held at Chengdu City Detention Center.

9. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Yang Liwei (50 years old), Ms. Zhang Limin (about 40 years old), Mr. Hu Lin (40 years old), and Mr. Deng Yulin (52 years old) were arrested by officers from the Benxi City 610 Office and the Huanren County police on the afternoon of May 23, 2019.

Currently, Ms. Yang and Ms. Zhang are being held at Benxi City Detention Center. Mr. Hu and Mr. Deng are being held at Huanren County Detention Center.

10. [Beijing] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Xu Xiufen from Fangshan District was arrested by Lu, deputy director, and officers from the Liangxiang Town Police Station on April 19, 2019. Ms. Xu is detained at Fangshan District Detention Center.

Ms. Liang Chunli and Ms. Shen were arrested by officers from the Gongchen Street Police Station on May 20, 2019. Their Falun Dafa books were confiscated.

11. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Yan Dejin Detained

Mr. Yan Dejin from Guye District was arrested by plainclothes officers when he was talking to others about Falun Dafa in the Mawantuo area, Luan County, on the morning of May 28, 2019. He is being held in the Luan County Detention Center.

12. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Officers from the Dongjiao Police Department broke into Ms. Chen Ailan's home on the afternoon of May 27, 2019. They arrested Ms. Chen, as well as Ms. Qi Zhilian, Ms. Niu Xuezhen, Ms. Li Shangzhen, and Ms. Yin who were visiting her.

14. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Guo Yuzhen, Ms. Liu Fengbao, Ms. Ding Lijie, and Ms. Yang Yanjie were arrested by officers from the Dehui City Police Department. The practitioners are detained in the Dehui City Police Department's Detention Center.

15. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Elderly Mr. Zou Shuangwu Detained

Mr. Zou Shuangwu, 70, was arrested by officers from the Jinyinhu Police Station, Dongxihu District, on the morning of April 18, 2019. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated a laptop computer, a desktop computer, a DVD burner, Falun Dafa books, and photos of the founder of Falun Dafa. Mr. Zou is detained at Dongxihu No. 1 Detention Center.

16. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Wensong Arrested

Mr. Li Wensong from Qingyuan County was arrested by officers from the Meihekou Domestic Security Division, the Qingyuan Domestic Security Division, and the residential community personnel at noon on May 29, 2019. His whereabouts are unknown.

17. [Xiangyang City, Hubei Province] Mr. Xing Guangming Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Xing Guangming was given a two-year-and-nine-month prison term.

18. [Mianzhu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Yang Xuncheng and Other Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Yang Xuncheng, Ms. Wan Mengrong, Ms. Yin Guangsu, and several other practitioners were arrested and their homes ransacked by officers from the Xiushui Town Police Station, Anzhou District, Mianyang City, on May 28, 2019.

19. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Five Practitioners Taken to Prison

Mr. Zhou Xing, Mr. Li Tianxue, and Mr. Liu Jinglong were taken to the New Inmates Ward of Liaonan Prison on April 30, 2019.

Ms. Wang Liguo and Ms. Sun Baoying were taken to the Liaoning Women's Prison on May 21, 2019.

20. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Baofu's Home Ransacked

Officers from the Weizhuang Police Station, Shen County, and the Sang'e Town Police Station, Guan County, ransacked Mr. Liu Baofu's home in Dongzhoupu Village, Sang'e Town, around May 10, 2019 as a result of his talking to others about Falun Dafa. Mr. Liu escaped and became displaced.
