Mr. Zhao Zhisheng and Ms. Xu Shoujuan were followed and have had their homes monitored by officers from the Taiyanggong Police Station and the Shaoyaoju Community Committee since March 3, 2019.

Mr. Tian Yaqin, 69, and Ms. Wang Shurong, 66, from Shunyi District, were arrested by officers from the Mulin Police Station in Shunyi District on March 9, 2019. The police ransacked their homes and confiscated Falun Gong books, printers, computers, and other items. They are currently held at the Nihe Detention Center in Shunyi District.

Ms. Hu Yali was arrested at home by officers from the Huancheng Town Police Station on March 8, 2019.

Ms. Xu Fenghua was arrested by officers from the Guangrao County Domestic Security Division on March 10, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken to the Dongying City Detention Center.

Ms. Zhang Jinying was arrested by officers from the Changyi Police Department on March 10, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken to the Guangwen Police Station and released that evening.

6. [Linqing City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xiumei Arrested

Ms. Wang Xiumei was arrested by officers from the Linqing Railway Station and the Xinhua Police Station on March 7, 2019.

Five practitioners were prosecuted by the Rongcheng District Procuratorate on January 29, 2019, and tried by the district court on March 19.

They are Mr. Wu Chunxiong, Ms. Chen Xiaobin, Mr. Wu Xuqin, Mr. Cai Linhua, and Mr. Tang Jianqun.

8. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Gen Yingchao Prosecuted

Ms. Gen Yingchao was recently prosecuted by the Qinhuai District Police Station, the Procuratorate, and the court.

9. [Huangchuan County, Henan Province] Mr. Liu Changrong Tried

Mr. Liu Changrong was tried by the Huangchuan County Court on March 1, 2019.

He was arrested by officers from the Huangchuan County Police Station on October 17, 2018, and has been held at the Xinyang City No. 1 Detention Center.

Ms. Zhou Youzhen, in her 70s, was arrested by officers on January 4, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She has been held at the Hubei Province Brainwashing Center since then.

11. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Xiaoyan Detained

Ms. Zhang Xiaoyan was arrested by officers from the Chaoyang Police Department on February 15, 2019. She is currently held at the Chaoyang City Detention Center.

12. [Huludao, Liaoning Province] Ms. Jiang Deqin's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Jiang Deqin was taken to the Shenyang Brainwashing Center on March 1, 2019, for a one-month detention term. She was later taken back to Huludao City. Her whereabouts are unknown.

13. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Five Practitioners Persecuted

Ms. Sun Jinkui, Ms. Wang Yali, Ms. Wang Shugui, Ms. Li Chenghua, annd Mr. Bao Wanming were arrested by officers from the Jixi City Police Department, the Jiguan District Police Department, the Diangonglu Police Station, the Tiexi Police Station, and the Xiangyang Police Station on November 9, 2018. Their cases were brought to the Mishan City Court.

14. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Hu Xuefang Tried For Her Faith

Ms. Hu Xuefang was tried by the Huanggang City Intermediate Court on March 7, 2019. She and her two lawyers entered not guilty pleas for her. Her lawyers argued that the persecution of Falun Gong did not have a legal basis and demanded her acquittal. The judge adjourned the hearing without issuing a verdict.

Only a few of her family members were allowed to attend the hearing.

15. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Ming and Mr. Li Quanchen Detained for Approximately Nine Months

Mr. Zhang Ming and Mr. Li Quanchen have been held at the Kuandian Detention Center for about nine months. Mr. Zhang’s blood pressure reached 200/140 mmHG; he had tachycardia and was on the verge of death. Mr. Li was diagnosed with tuberculosis. Their families asked for their release several times. The official in charge denied the requests. It was said that they are now facing trials.

16. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chen Min’s Sentence Upheld

Ms. Chen Min was arrested when she talked to people about Falun Gong at the entrance to Haolin Shopping Mall on the afternoon of September 4, 2018. Liaozhong District Court sentenced her to four years of imprisonment. She appealed to the Shenyang Intermediate Court. The court recently made the decision to uphold the original sentence.
