1. [Meihekou City, Jilin Province] Ms. Chang Hongxia and Ms. Yang Hua's Cases Passed to Procuratorate

Ms. Chang Hongxia and Ms. Yang Hua were arrested by officers from the Tiebei Police Station on the morning of December 29, 2018, when they were distributing Falun Gong informational calendars at the Tiebei Flea Market. They were taken to the police station and then to a detention center for 13 days.

Both practitioners were transferred to the Liaoyuan Detention Center on January 11, 2019, and their cases were turned over to the Procuratorate on February 2.

Ms. Zhang Mingxiao, from the Shuangcheng District, was arrested by officers from the Daoli District Police Department and Domestic Security Division on January 28, 2019.

3. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Xu Hongwei and Mr. Liu Dagong Taken to Prison

The families of Mr. Xu Hongwei and Mr. Liu Dagong, from Penglai City, received imprisonment notices from the Shandong Province Prison on February 2, 2019. They learned that Mr. Xu and Mr. Liu were taken to the No. 11 Ward of Shandong Prison on January 24.

Mr. Liu was sentenced to a two-and-a-half-year prison term, while Mr. Xu was sentenced to a three and a half years.

Mr. Xia Chenggui, from Jiuzhi Town in Hejiang County, was arrested by officers from the Hejiang Police Department on January 25, 2019.

Mr. Luo Chunquan, from Xingning City, was tried by Mei County Court in Meizhou City on the morning of January 18, 2019.
