Additional Persecution News from China – November 17, 2019 (6 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 4provinces, where at least 9 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Beijing] Ms. Lu Mingfang Arrested
2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Hong and Ms. Lin Jianli Arrested
3. [Tianjin] Wuqing District Residents Mr. Wang Wenguang and Ms. Zhang Fuqin Detained
4. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wu Xingying Facing Trial5. [Wuxue City, Hubei Province] Mr. Wu Fenghua Detained
6. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xu Yuzhi and Ms. Liu Shuqin Detained

1. [Beijing] Ms. Lu Mingfang Arrested

Ms. Lu Mingfang from the Changping District was arrested by three plainclothes officers from the Changping Police Station on September 28, 2019. She was taken to the Liucun Detention Center on September 30. The First Branch of Beijing Procuratorate didn’t issue an arrest warrant until November 5, 2019.

2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Hong and Ms. Lin Jianli Arrested

Ms. Wang Hong, in her 60s, was on her way to visit relatives when she was arrested on a high-speed train by the railroad police in August 2019. Her home was ransacked. She was released on bail. Ms. Wang was summoned to the Railroad Procuratorate around September 20, 2019. Since then, her whereabouts have remained unknown.

Ms. Lin Jianli was arrested at home on June 14, 2019.

3. [Tianjin] Wuqing District Residents Mr. Wang Wenguang and Ms. Zhang Fuqin Detained

Mr. Wang Wenguang was arrested at home on November 10, 2019. He is being held at the Wuqing Detention Center for 15 days.

Ms. Zhang Fuqin has been held at the Wuqing Detention Center.

4. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wu Xingying Facing Trial

Ms. Wu Xingying, 73, was arrested by Huangdai Town Police Station officers on May 10, 2019. The Wujiang District Procuratorate issued a search warrant on June 14, 2019. Ms. Wu has been held ub the Suzhou Fourth Detention Center. The Wujiang Court has scheduled her trial for the afternoon of December 10, 2019.

5. [Wuxue City, Hubei Province] Mr. Wu Fenghua Detained

Mr. Wu Fenghua was arrested and taken to the Wuxue City Detention Center by Chen Guoquan and officers from the Qinglin Police Station on November 16, 2019.

6. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xu Yuzhi and Ms. Liu Shuqin Detained

Ms. Xu Yuzhi and Ms. Liu Shuqin were arrested on the afternoon of November 7, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Their homes were ransacked and their properties confiscated. They are being held in the Nangou Detention Center.
