(Minghui.org) Many of my family members and friends have been blessed after they came to understand what Falun Dafa is all about and that the practice has been brutally persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). I hope that more people will benefit from identifying with Falun Dafa's principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
Cui's Life-Changing Visit
My best friend Cui was my roommate in college. She was an upbeat and positive girl. After graduation, she relocated to Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. She called me in 2009 to say that she had just broken up with her boyfriend of eight years. As her family was pressuring her to get married, she was very upset and frustrated.
I invited her to come for a visit. She showed up days later and we had so much to catch up on with each other. She complained that her dream of marrying the right man with a decent income was dashed with her breakup. I told her to follow the course of nature and to relax and just enjoy her visit.
In the meantime, I took the opportunity to talk to her about Falun Dafa as I knew from my own experience how Falun Dafa brings blessings to people who believe in it.
I had already helped her quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) over the phone in the past. During her visit this time, I told her how Falun Dafa has spread to the world and is only persecuted in China. I also shared with her how practicing Falun Dafa changed my life; how my family and I survived a serious car accident thanks to Dafa; and how others benefited from the practice, etc.
She was surprised to hear all of that and said she was beginning to believe that Falun Dafa would change her life too.
Her birthday was two days later. I invited a few friends to go out and celebrated the birthday with her. It turned out one of the persons who attended the dinner became her husband one year later.
She took a bus back home several days later. We learned the next day that her bus caught fire, with many fatalities. When I finally got hold of her, she told me that she had lost her bag at the bus station and missed her bus. She could not believe she was so fortunate to not board the doomed bus.
One year later, Cui moved to my city and married my friend. Her in-laws liked her very much. She no longer smokes, drinks, or goes to bars. Others asked her how she changed so much and became so peaceful and content with life. She told them that she kept saying the phrases whenever she had time, “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” and “Falun Dafa is good.”
Cui became a senior manager of an upscale hotel. She has many privileges and powers, but corruption was never in her vocabulary. There have been quite some layoffs in her hotel, but she is the only manager that kept her job.
Even though she has not practiced Falun Dafa yet, she abides by the principles of the practice and has a great reputation among all her colleagues.
Blessed With a Baby
My friend Yan has been married for several years but has no child. Her in-laws gave her and her husband a lot of pressure whenever they went back to visit.
I ran into her at the supermarket. She told me that she was so stressed because of not having a baby after being married for several years. Her doctor could not pinpoint what was wrong.
I consoled her and told her about Falun Dafa. I helped her quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. I also asked her to recite the phrases “Falun Dafa is good,” “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” often. And I asked her to persuade her husband to withdraw from the CCP.
When I met Yan two months later, she told me that she'd gotten pregnant. “This is just amazing!” she said.
There was a similar story with my childhood friend Li.
I ran into Li in 2012. She had been married for 8 years without any sign of pregnancy. The couple also felt pressured whenever they visited their parents.
I told her about Falun Dafa, how it teaches people to be good and how the CCP persecutes it.
Li understood the facts and asked me to help her quit the CCP. I asked her to relate the information to her husband as well. She agreed.
A year and a half later, I learned that Li has become a mother already! She had no morning sickness and the labor was very smooth. How amazing!
Malformed Fetus Turned Out to Be Normal
When I saw my cousin and his wife in 2015, they looked very upset. They told me that they just had an ultrasound, which showed a malformed fetus, and they had been scheduled to have an abortion the next week.
I understood their feelings and consoled them. I urged them to quit the CCP and related organizations and recite the phrases sincerely, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” which would bring blessings to them.
My cousin's wife was encouraged but still had doubts, “Really, will that work?” I told her as long as she sincerely believes in Falun Dafa, things would change.
The next time I ran into them I learned that the fetus was normal, nothing was wrong! I knew it was the miracle of Dafa.
