1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Gang's Appeal Cuts Sentence in Half

Ms. Li Gang, 76, from the Shahekou District, was sentenced to a seven-year prison term. However, after she appealed Dalian City Intermediate Court reduced her sentence to a three-and-a-half-year prison term. She was taken to Liaoning Women’s Prison on October 22, 2019.

2. [Huailai County, Hebei Province] Ms. Ji Shujun and Ms. He Yurong Detained

Ms. Ji Shujun and Ms. He Yurong were arrested on the morning of September 22, 2019, after someone reported them for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were taken to Langshan Police Station, and later transferred to Zhangjiakou Detention Center. They have since been released.

3. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Meihua Arrested

Ms. Wang Meihua, 70, was taken to Qingshanjie Police Station on the morning of November 3, 2019. The police interrogated her, took her blood sample and fingerprints. She was later released.

4. [Xiangtan City, Hunan Province] Ms. Guo Mingqing Tried a Second Time

Ms. Guo Mingqing was arrested for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was tried, and the Yuetang District Court held a second trial against her on October 31, 2019.

5. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Feng Chunying’s Appeal Denied

Ms. Feng Chunying, 79, was sentenced to a two-year prison term, and fined 5,000 yuan by Changqing District Court in September, 2019. She appealed, but Jinan City Intermediate Court refused to accept the case. Ms. Feng learned of the verdict on the evening of November 3.

6. [Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Jiwu Tortured

Mr. Wang Jiwu from Gongchenghao Village, Handian Town was arrested for writing “Falun Dafa Is Good” on a wall in the early hours of October 25, 2019. He is being held in Shuangcheng Detention Center.

Mr. Wang went a hunger strike for seven days. Guards locked him in solitary confinement and inserted tubes through his nose to force feed him. They also inserted a tube into his throat to stop him from speaking out for Falun Dafa.

The Shuangcheng Police Department extorted 15,000 yuan from Mr. Wang’s family citing “release on bail.” But Mr. Wang is still being held in the detention center.

7. [Beijing] Ms. Su Huina Detained

Ms. Su Huina was arrested on September 30, 2019, after been seen on surveillance cameras distributing informational materials about Falun Gong in the Changping District. She was taken to Datun Police Station, and later transferred to Chaoyang Detention Center.

8. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Nine Practitioners Arrested

Nine practitioners, including Ms. Zhu Haiyan, were arrested in early October, 2019.

9. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Xiao Binhuan Detained

Mr. Xiao Binhuan was arrested in the Dongxihu Great Market on the morning of October 23, 2019. He was detained for 15 days.

10. [Yiyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Chen Heping Detained

Ms. Chen Heping, 63, from Yiyang City, was arrested on the morning of September 14, 2019. She is being held in Siping City, Jilin Province.

11. [Shanghai] Update on Mr. Liu Bo and Mr. Fu Jian

Mr. Liu Bo from the Jiading District was arrested on July 27, 2019. He was taken to Jiading Detention Center. The police have passed his case to the Jiading Procuratorate.

Mr. Fu Jian from Huaian City, Jiangsu Province was arrested in Baoshan District, Shanghai in September. He is being held in Baoshan Detention Center.

12. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Mr. Wang Xiangchen Arrested

Mr. Wang Xiangchen was arrested by officers from Beijingzhonglu Police Station on November 4, 2019. He was reported to the police by his students after he told them about the persecution of Falun Gong.

13. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Yang Xiangwen and His Wife Ms. Zhang Shumei Arrested

Mr. Yang Xiangwen, 64, and his wife Ms. Zhang Shumei, 63, from the Qingdao Development District were arrested by officers from Changjianglu Police Station on the afternoon of November 5, 2019. They were held for 24 hours.

14. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Chen Huijiang Tried Twice

Mr. Chen Huijiang from Bin County was arrested at home on November 9, 2018. He is taken to Bin Detention Center.

Mr. Chen was tried by the Yilan Court on July 30, 2019 and October 29.

15. [Weichang County, Hebei Province] Several Practitioners Imprisoned

Several practitioners were arrested by officers from Weichang County Police Department on the afternoon of July 13, 2019, when they gathered to study the Falun Gong books together.

Mr. Wang Guozhi, Mr. Chen, Mr. Wang Yongxing, Mr. Liu Zhifeng, were among those taken to Qipanshan Prison.

Ms. Wang Sufang, Ms. Du Guilan, Ms. Li Yanhua, Ms. Wang Haiqin, Ms. Tang Fengxia, Ms. Ge, and more than twenty others were taken to Chengde Prison.
