1. [Neijiang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Liu Wangquan and Two Other Practitioners Tried

Mr. Liu Wangquan, Ms. Fu Shuqun, and Ms. Peng Guirong from Xianyuan County were tried at 10:00 a.m on October 22, 2019.

2. [Tianjin] Ms. Li Shuxia and Ms. Mi Jinfeng Arrested

Ms. Li Shuxia was arrested by officers from the Shengli Police Station, Dagang Street, Binhai New Area, on the afternoon of August 12, 2019. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Gong books, and printed materials. Ms. Li was held in the police station for one night, and taken to the Binhai New Area No. 3 Detention Center the following morning. She was detained for 10 days. After returning home, she has remained under police surveillance.

Ms. Mi Jinfeng from Dazhongzhuang Town, Baodi District, was arrested by officers from the Baodi District Police Department and the Dazhongzhuang Town Police Station on the morning of October 22, 2019. The police did not allow her family to visit or see her.

3. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhao Huanzhen Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Zhao Huanzhen from Hebei Province was arrested for talking to people about Falun Gong in Suizhong County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province. He was tried on September 10, 2019 and was given a one-year-and-six-month prison term. He was recently fined 2,000 yuan.

4. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Shuqing Given a Four-Year Prison Term

Ms. Zhao Shuqing was given a four-year prison term on October 1, 2019. She is being held in the Hebei Women's Prison.

5. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Guangbao Arrested

Mr. Zhang Guangbao, an employee at the Weizhuang Dental Clinic, was arrested by officers from the Guan County Domestic Security Division on the evening of October 18, 2019. He was taken to Guan County to be detained.

Ms. Fang Jinru was arrested by officers from the Qisi Township Police Station on the morning of October 17, 2019 for talking to students about Falun Gong. She is being held in the county detention center.

7. [Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Shi Guanxian Faces Trial

Mr. Shi Guanxian was arrested on June 21, 2018 at his home by Shi Biao, deputy head of the Yongkang City Domestic Security Division, Hu Minjin, an officer from the city 610 Office, officers from the Jiangnan Police Station, and Residential Committee personnel. He has been held in the Yongkang City Detention Center.

The Yongkang City 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division turned his case over to the Wucheng District Procuratorate. Mr. Shi will be tried by the Wucheng District Court on October 25, 2019.

Mr. Yu Min was arrested at the Dandong Train Station checkpoint on October 10, 2019 for carrying an MP3 with Falun Gong content.

9. [Fengcheng City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chen Xiang Arrested

Ms. Chen Xiang from Yangjia Village, Liujiahe Town, was reported to the police by the village security committee head and arrested on October 18, 2019.

Ms. Mai Xiufen from the Santaizi area was arrested on September 23, 2019 and her home was ransacked that day by officers from the Huanggu District Police Department. She was held in the Shenyang City No.1 Detention Center. Her bail process started on October 21.

Mr. Zhang Haimin from Xingcheng City was arrested by officers from the Ningyuan Police Station on the morning of October 21, 2019.

13. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yang Ying and Ms. Sun Ronghua Detained

Ms. Yang Ying and Ms. Sun Ronghua from Beizhen City were arrested by officers from the Zhaotun Town Police Station when they were talking to people about Falun Gong in Wutun Village, Zhaotun Town, Beizhen City, on October 21, 2019. Their homes were ransacked. Both practitioners were taken to the Jinzhou City Detention Center by the Beizhen City Domestic Security officers for 15 days of detention.

14. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Dong Wenxiu and Four Other Practitioners Officially Arrested

Ms. Dong Wenxiu, Ms. Wang Yurong, Ms. Wang Shulan, Mr. Li Jizhong (Ms. Wang Shulan’s husband), Ms. Zhang Haiyan, and Ms. Wan Fang were arrested by several officers from the Harbin Railway Public Security Division on September 11, 2019. They were taken to the Harbin City No. 2 Detention Center. Ms. Dong and four other practitioners were officially placed under arrest.

Mr. Li was released on bail.

Mr. Chi Linghua, 58, was arrested on September 29, 2019, by Lin Mingjian, head of the Suifenhe City Domestic Security Division, and officers from the Jianshe Police Station for distributing information about Falun Gong. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated his Falun Gong books and related materials. Mr. Chi was taken to the Suifenhe City Detention Center for 15 days of detention.
