(Minghui.org) I am in my late 70s and retired from teaching in 2003. I began practicing Falun Dafa in 1995.
I began to go out and talk to people about Falun Dafa, explaining the truth to them face to face, in 2006. I have done this every day for the last 13 years, except for when it is my turn to take care of my elderly mother. Whatever the weather, however difficult the suppression, I keep going. I have always felt Master Li’s protection, support, and reinforcement.
I would like to share some of my experiences in the process of helping Master save people.
Master Connected Us
Other practitioners and I go to different markets in the suburbs to distribute Dafa information and encourage people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations.
One day, Jie told us that there was a family that wanted to learn the Falun Dafa exercises. She’d brought with her the teaching DVD and the main book on Falun Dafa. She wanted the four of us to go together, so that we would be able to help in the future.
As soon as we arrived, Jie received an urgent call and she had to go home. Now what? One side thought that we should wait until the next time, but I thought we’d better keep our word and stick with the plan. But where was the family?
The market was crowded, with so many people passing by. At a narrow passageway in front of a store, a man on a bike was coming towards us, so I turned aside to give him the right-of-way. As he passed, I suddenly thought, “It’s him!” I turned around and said to him, “I’m looking for you!” He hit the brakes, turned around, and said, “I thought so, too. I remembered you carried a bag of brochures in one hand and distributed them with the other.”
How amazing! His family had sent him to find us! Master dropped us the hint when we almost missed each other! We went to his home, taught them the exercises, and emphasized the importance of study the teachings.
I also recognized a person who sells ginger. I’d once purchased all his vegetables on a hot summer day so that he could finish early and go home. From that day on, he has greeted me like a friend, not only taking brochures for himself but also telling others. He knows many people well and brings them to me, so that I can tell them the basic information about Falun Dafa and the persecution. He truly reminded me that “a little kindness goes a long way.”
Before we left, we reminded ourselves to keep up our righteous thoughts, reciting Lunyuto ourselves from memory on the the bus. We asked Master for his reinforcement and guidance. We have been doing this for the last 13 years without interference.
Volunteer Distributors
I abide by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and treat others with kindness. In turn, they treat me like a friend. Whenever there is news, they remind me in a whisper, “Be careful! The Party had another conference. They said that Falun Dafa is against the Party and whoever has Falun Dafa brochures will be arrested.”
The heart to stand up for what is right cannot be repressed. When the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party came out, people commented that they felt as if they had been awakened from a slumber of many years. Many people want to read and distribute it. In one county alone, four volunteers helped me distribute the Nine Commentaries. In particular, Mr. Gao and Mr. Hui met with me every market day and took many copies of the book to distribute.
One day I met up with Mr. Hui at a bus station and we discussed Falun Dafa a bit more. I told him, “Master Li takes care of all ethnic groups, races, and nations, not just us Chinese.” Hui responded, “He is the savior!” I was delighted with his answer and agreed, “Yes! Master came to provide salvation to all of humanity!” Hui said, “Now I understand! Bring me more materials. I want to do more.”
Mr. Gao is tall and quiet, and very diligent about distributing information. He never misses a chance to get more. He has waited for me not just in one market but other markets as well. I asked him if he was afraid. He replied that he was not afraid to be a good person. I am deeply grateful for Master's protection and strengthening.
During the unprecedented persecution, we’ve met with volunteer distributors on seven market days every 10 days, rain or shine. We have done this smoothly throughout the years.
More People Help Distribute Information
I went to a market day in a nearby county and stopped at a booth that sold sweet potatoes. I brought up the persecution and gave the vendor a copy of the Nine Commentaries. The next time I went to that market, a guy came running after me. He was the one who sold sweet potatoes! He said, “Do you have a copy of the book you gave me last time? We have people lined up to read it. I am from the next town and often come here to sell my sweet potatoes. We have never seen such a good book. Others in the village asked me to ask for more copies. Do you have any more?” I was moved—Master brought people to me. Thank you, Master!
He asked for several copies of the Nine Commentaries each time I went. Everyone was eager to read the book and choose their future, and I felt bad that I did not have enough.
In order to help illiterate farmers access the truth about Dafa, I purchased an MP3 player and loaded it with Dafa information. When I showed one farmer how to use it, he was delighted. He later told me, “I live near the main street in my village where people like to walk on summer nights. They have to pass my home, and many—sometimes 40 to 50 at a time—have stopped to watch the Nine Commentaries. Some nodded their heads and others were crying, saying, 'It's true, it's all true, that's how they persecute people!'”
He also told me that many people wanted to withdraw from the CCP and its organizations, but didn’t know how. It looks like we need to attach instructions on how to do that. He also distributed brochures for us and told us that when we came, most of the farmers were afraid to take anything because the persecution was being enforced. But when he did it, nobody noticed.
I purchased two more MP3 players so that more farmers can learn the truth. We added two more volunteer distributors in the next county and plan to open more channels in other counties.
Summary
Over these 20 years of persecution, just as Master said:
“The old forces never intended for Dafa to survive the evil they forged with fire and blood. But through the strength of your conviction, through the sacred vows that brought you to this earth, through the personal bonds and ties of destiny you established over many lifetimes, through your rational understanding of Dafa, and through the righteous thoughts that Dafa has given you and the ultimate protection from the Fa and its powers, you have made it through!” To the Canada Fa Conference
Falun Dafa practitioners have sown the seeds of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in people's hearts while helping Master to save sentient beings. Now, more and more people acknowledge that Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. They are grateful for Master Li!
