(Minghui.org) I was encouraged by a practitioner's experience-sharing article about how “our thinking should be clear and upright” while suing former Communist regime leader Jiang Zemin for persecuting Falun Dafa.
The practitioner pointed out in the article, “A few practitioners who filed the criminal complaints against Jiang were illegally arrested by the local police. A practitioner told me that he heard the criminal complaints were all returned back to the police station and asked me whether mine was returned to the police station here or near my parents' home?”
This practitioner continued: “I told her, 'It should not be returned anywhere, as I mailed the complaints to the Supreme Court and Supreme Procuratorate. Those are the places the letters should go. Our Dafa practitioners' thinking should be upright. If I wanted to mail something to the police station, I would just list the police station's address.'”
Lastly, the practitioner pointed out: “Master leads us in Fa-Rectification cultivation which is the most righteous, and we should think and act the same way. Whatever we say, we should really mean it. All the messy things we encounter are not arranged by Master and have nothing to do with us.”
“Our thinking should be clear and upright” is a very pure thought. If we could do everything with such a pure mind, our cultivation states would be simpler, and we could avoid a lot of losses.
My understanding is that when a conflict occurs and something needs to be taken care of, we should not be tangled up with the issue of who is right or wrong.
Instead, we should see things based on the Fa and not be constrained by ordinary notions. We should just deal with the matter in a straightforward manner.
A while ago, the Communist regime started a local online signature activity asking people to denounce Dafa, and my workplace required all employees to sign. I didn’t sign, but decided to send a statement to my coworkers pointing out that Falun Dafa was not one of the 14 groups which were considered a cult by China's law.
Although I did what I was supposed to do, I still had some fear. I worried the management would reprimand me, or my colleagues would turn against me.
I looked back and realized I should not be entangled with these thoughts and should have no fear. Safeguarding Dafa is a practitioners' responsibility!
This is simple and straightforward, and I should not have all these worries. As the practitioner said, “All the messy things are not arranged by Master and have nothing to do with us.”
Master Li said,
“As Master sees it, your each and every thought, and your every single action, reveals to me what your heart is like. What I least like are those who are all talk and no action. Nor do I like those who are cunning. What I like are those who are honest and simple, sincere and down-to-earth. I also hope that you can all, after so many years of cultivating, positively grow in wisdom and not grow so much in terms of knowing how to deal with worldly matters or how to conduct yourself as a human being leading a worldly life.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2010 New York Fa Conference”, Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. XI)
