1. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Lu Guanru Abused in Detention Center

1. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Lu Guanru Abused in Detention Center

Mr. Lu Guanru was arrested on November 9, 2018. He was taken to a detention center, where he has been interrogated daily and forced to stand for long periods of time with his feet shackled. He went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution.

Mr. Lu's family hired a lawyer, but the detention center refused to allow his lawyer to meet with him. Fresh clothing and daily necessities are also not allowed to be delivered to him.

2. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhao Guihua's Case Submitted to Court

Ms. Zhao Guihua, 64, was arrested by Gao Yuwen, deputy head of the Liuhe County Domestic Security Division, and other officers on September 8, 2018. She was taken to the Tonghua City Detention Center.

Ms. Zhao's case was submitted to the Procuratorate in October, and has now been passed to the court.

3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Jiang Lianxiang Formally Arrested

Ms. Jiang Lianxiang was arrested on November 12, 2018. Police ransacked her apartment and confiscated Falun Gong books and other personal belongings. She has now been formally arrested, and is being held in the Yaojia Detention Center.

4. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Yingxia's Case Sent to Procuratorate

Ms. Wang Yingxia, from the Xindu District, was arrested by officers from the Shiyangchang Police Station when she was taking care of her grandchild in her daughter's home in the Gaoxin District. Her case has been sent to the Public Prosecution Office of the Gaoxin Procuratorate.
