(Minghui.org) With the Mid-Autumn Festival fast approaching, many people in China have sent in greetings to wish Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa, a happy holiday.
Though the well-wishers do not practice Falun Dafa themselves, they identify with its principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and condemn the Chinese Communist Party’s brutal persecution of the spiritual practice.
They thanked Master Li for bringing them health and happiness. Many also expressed their admiration for practitioners who risk their lives to raise awareness of the persecution and long for the day when practitioners can enjoy family reunions, too.
Lawyers Inspired by Falun Dafa Practitioners
Two human rights lawyers wrote about their concern that so many people in China have lost their moral compass and are doing bad things without reservation. They were both inspired by Falun Dafa practitioners, who stand up to the persecution and are unwavering in their faith in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
One lawyer said that he longed for the day when the persecution ends and practitioners can do the exercises openly again. The other lawyer said he and many other human rights lawyers have also faced arrest, detention, and torture for seeking justice for their clients. As such, he feels for Dafa practitioners who are forced to pay such a dear price for refusing to renounce their faith.
Shandong Woman's Gratitude
A woman in Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province, expressed her deep gratitude to Master Li for bringing blessings to her whole family.
Her mother recovered from severe rheumatoid arthritis not long after taking up the practice of Falun Dafa.
Her grandmother is not a practitioner but recites “Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” every day. At 91, she can still thread needles without glasses. Her hair is still naturally dark. She takes city buses everywhere by herself and many of the regular passengers know her well. From time to time, she also cooks for the whole family.
This woman herself had a health scare in February 2017, when she suddenly went into labor while only 7 months pregnant. Her baby's umbilical cord was dark, and her doctors said that had the infant been born even a few minutes later, she would have died. Now the baby is one and a half years old and very healthy.
Her husband was diagnosed with a heart problem this year. He is only in his 30s, and she was really worried. The day before his surgery, she suddenly remembered how a great aunt of hers recovered from a severe heart problem by practicing Falun Dafa. She asked the great aunt to have a talk with her husband, who decided to give Falun Dafa a try. He gradually returned to health and also got rid of his bad temper.
Insomnia Gone
A resident of Beijing wrote that he suffered from severe insomnia and had to take sleeping pills every night. After he began to recite “Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” he was able to fall asleep without any aid. He thanked Master Li for giving him hope.
Whole Family Blessed
One of the greetings was from an extended family of nearly 20 people spanning three generations in Yiyuan County, Shandong Province.
The whole family supports Falun Dafa and has been blessed. This year alone, two high school seniors got admitted to top schools, and one college graduate landed a good job. Two others in the family are highly accomplished professionals who are well known in their fields.
Other Well Wishers
The well-wishers also include a ten-year-old girl, a bus driver, two government officials, a married couple, a family of more than ten, and several others who have also benefited from Falun Dafa.
