(Minghui.org) An old colleague of mine, a former teacher, left teaching for politics and became a deputy county magistrate. Each time I bumped into him, he would just say hello and leave quickly. He was afraid of hearing me talk about Falun Gong and even more scared to accept any information.
However, things are changing. He saw me again not long ago and invited me for a chat. He told me excitedly that when he went on a holiday overseas recently, he saw a Falun Gong presentation in a parade and that it was truly magnificent. “A democratic society is so different from China, and there is so much freedom,” he said. He also told me that he read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party while overseas.
“I didn’t dare to read it while I was still working. Now that I’m retired, I really need to consider quitting the CCP. Please help me quit the Party. The CCP is truly corrupt and very dangerous.”
I praised him for his foresight and told him that he would have a good future if he seized the opportunity without delay.
“I will certainly help you quit the CCP,” I said to him. “I would also encourage you to read more about Falun Gong.”
Mr. Xu’s New Insight
Mr. Xu from northeast China has become a big fan of NTDTV.
One day, he bumped into Yao, a local Falun Gong practitioner, and said, “I got really angry with the CCP when I saw the evil things it has done.”
Yao said, “You’re not alone. Good people get upset when they see how the CCP operates.”
Mr. Xu loves to think about things. He was very pleased to find that content on NTDTV was exactly what he wanted to know, so he set up the required satellite receiver right away.
“Falun Gong tells us about all the evil things that the CCP has done over the years,” Mr. Xu continued. “The CCP says that Falun Gong is against the Party. To me, it is like an ugly toad complaining that a photographer has made it look ugly in the picture.”
