(Minghui.org) I have been helping some Falun Dafa practitioners to solve problems with their computers and printers in our area, and have won their respect along the way.

One practitioner liked to ask me questions which were not related to technological problems: “Can you read one lecture a day?” or “What time do you normally get up to do exercises in the morning?”

If I was in a good cultivation state, I would not mind answering her questions, but I wasn't happy when my cultivation was poor. I thought that I was travelling a long way to come and help repair her computer, and wondered why she kept asking me all these questions.

I regularly visited other practitioners to see if they needed technological support, but I dreaded seeing this practitioner. She asked me questions every time I was there, even about my family. And all those questions touched a nerve.

I'd had enough one day. I blamed and criticized her for having attachments to showing off, and she didn't appreciate the work that I had done for her. She was surprised after listening to me and didn't think she had done anything wrong.

I realized that I needed to look inward and improve myself, as I had a strong resistance towards her for some time.

Master said,

“In qigong practice, those of you whose qi cannot go through a pass or come down should look for reasons within your xinxing to determine if you are stuck at that level for too long and whether you should upgrade your xinxing!” (Zhuan Falun)

Wasn't Master using this practitioner's mouth to point out my shortcomings? In fact, what the practitioner asked all touched upon my weaknesses.

For example, I didn't do the exercises every day, and sometimes put Fa study aside when I was busy. Sometimes I even didn't study the Fa for two to three days. And I also missed the global times for sending righteous thoughts, and I didn't find time to make up for it later.

Master said,

“The old forces have arranged for all Dafa disciples a set of their things, so if a Dafa disciple doesn’t follow Master’s requirements, he must be following the old forces’ arrangements.” (“Be Clearheaded” in The Essentials Of Diligent Progress VOL. III)

After looking inside, I thought that I had formed a concept of looking down on the practitioner, as she was a slow learner on the computer and liked to rely on other people to help her. I realized how dangerous this human concept was.

When I calmed down, I thought that this practitioner also had many good qualities. She insists on doing the exercises every day, and talks to people face-to-face about the persecution of Falun Dafa. She also always sends righteous thoughts at the correct times.

I am very impressed with what she once said to me. “If you missed the time of sending forth righteous thoughts, that means you have missed it, and you won't find the time again. Therefore, we must put attention on it.”

I shared my opinions with the practitioner and we both realized that we need to look inward and look at things from the perspective of putting others first, and how we can improve in the future. We've cooperated better since then.
