60-Year-Old Manchurian Released on Bail Near Death
(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Huang Yunlong from Shizuishan City, Ningxia, detained in the Shizuishan No. 1 Detention Center, is on the verge of death. The police fear accountability for his condition and released him on bail for medical treatment. He returned home late July 2018.
Seven police officers surrounded his home and then raided it on May 10, 2018. They were from the Shizuishan City Police Department, the Domestic Security Division, and the local police station. When they arrived, a group of officers surrounded his home and then raided it. Personal belongings including computers, printers, Dafa books, and Dafa informational materials were confiscated.
The raid was directed by the Shizuishan City Political and Legal Affairs Committee and the 610 Office. The homes of 14 other Falun Gong practitioners in Shizuishan City were ransacked on the same day. Several practitioners were detained while some were released that day.
Mr. Huang was taken to the Domestic Security Division where he was secretly detained and interrogated.
Then he was sent to the Shizuishan No. 1 Detention Center. He suffered from bloody urination, and could not take in food. He was diagnosed with cancer. Before his release, he had been detained for two months.
Mr. Huang, over 60 years old, Manchu Chinese, is a retiree from the Gansu Province Jingyuan Coal Industry & Electricity Power Co., Ltd. After the Chinese Communist Party started the persecution of Falun Gong, he went to Beijing to appeal. He was arrested and sent to a labor camp for two years. Several ribs were broken due to police beatings. His home has been ransacked several times. He had been extorted for money and repeatedly detained by the authorities over the course of the persecution.
