Falun Dafa Day Celebrations in Russia, Czech Republic, Romania, Denmark, and Austria
(Minghui.org) This report covers celebrations in five European countries surrounding May 13, the anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction and the birthday of its founder, Master Li Hongzhi.
Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises, passed out flyers introducing the self-cultivation practice, and performed traditional Chinese dances and singing. The events were also aimed at raising awareness of the ongoing persecution of Falun Dafa by the communist regime in China.
Practitioners in Pyatigorsk, Saint Petersburg, Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude, Chelyabinsk, and Magnitogorsk held celebrations for World Falun Dafa Day.
Demonstrating the exercises in PyatigorskInga has practiced Falun Dafa for five years. She said the practice has helped her find inner peace and deal with difficulties in daily life.Eric started to practice last year. He said Falun Dafa not only gives him health but also teaches him the precious principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, helping him find the true meaning of life.

Besides the celebration, practitioners also held a peaceful protest in front of the Chinese Embassy, calling for the end to the persecution.
