Elected Officials in the U.S.A. and Canada Issue Special Recognitions for World Falun Dafa Day
(Minghui.org) May 13 is World Falun Dafa Day, commemorating the public introduction of Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) in China on May 13, 1992. Falun Dafa practitioners celebrate this special day across the world with group exercise practice, parades, and dance and music performances. These events bring Falun Dafa to a wider audience and introduce the benefits of the practice to more people.
Elected officials in the U.S. and Canada have shown their support for Falun Dafa by issuing special recognition or letters of greeting to congratulate the practitioners in the celebration of World Falun Dafa Day.
Eight U.S. Representatives from New York Recognize Falun Dafa
Falun Gong practitioners in New York held celebration events from May 10 to 13. Elected officials have issued over 100 letters of greeting to recognize the celebration of World Falun Dafa Day. Among them were letters from eight United States Representatives.
