Turkey: Falun Dafa Introduced at İzmir Book Expo

(Minghui.org) Practitioners in the Aegean region of İzmir, Turkey participated in the İzmir City Book Fair on April 21-22, 2018 for the fourth time, after doing so in the cities of Istanbul, Ankara, and Mersin. Falun Dafa’s main book Zhuan Falun in Turkey is published by the Cinius Publishing House, which was one of the 400 publishers participating at the fair.

In addition to the book’s publisher participating in the fair, the Falun Dafa Association of Turkey introduced the book and the practice of Falun Dafa. They demonstrated the exercises and helped fair visitors learn the facts about the persecution of Falun Dafa in China.

Practitioners perform the exercises inside at the Culture Exhibition Area in İzmir.

Practitioners also practiced the exercises outside in the fair garden area.

The practitioners promoted Falun Dafa on the first day of the fair, and on the second day demonstrated the exercises and distributed informational brochures in the fair garden area. They distributed more than 3,000 brochures during the two-day period.

Hüseyin, who is a tradesman in İzmir, stated after doing the exercises, “The music is very nice. I felt peaceful and relaxed after doing the exercises.”
