(Minghui.org) 71-year-old Ms. Wang Junqiao was handing out flyers about Falun Gong to people on March 13, 2018 and was arrested.
Ms. Wang lives in Mafucai Village of Dingzhou City. She went to the farmer's market in Dongting Village and while handing out Falun Gong flyers was arrested by officer Wang Shaohui and another officer from Dongting Township Police Station. Her Falun Gong flyers and 80 yuan paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them were confiscated.
The officers tried to torture Ms. Wang by ordering her to sit in the iron chair. She refused to comply with their demands. When she was asked for the source of the paper bills and flyers, she told them that they were from the Minghui website. Wang Shaohui then slapped her face.
Ms. Wang then shouted, "Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!"
The officer seemed shocked by her courage and didn't hit her again.
Ms. Wang tried to tell the officers what Falun Gong is and why the persecution is wrong. They didn't listen to her and instead locked her in a room.
After they found where she lived, they called the village and got her husband and the village party secretary to come to the station.
The village party secretary told the officers: "She hasn't done anything bad. She has been arrested many times, but is always released. Why don't you let her go home?"
The police officers had no choice but to release her.
