(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 6 provinces. According to this report, 10 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 5 were illegally arrested.

1. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Qi Yanhui Imprisoned
Ms. Qi Yanhui was imprisoned at the 10th Ward of the Jilin Province No. 2 Prison on January 18, 2018. It was said that more than 30 practitioners were being held there.
2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Detained
Three practitioners in Changchun were arrested by officers from the Xiaohelong Police Station on January 22, 2018, when they were giving away traditional Chinese New Year paintings and auspicious New Year’s decorations in villages north of Xiaohelong. Officer Tao Yuliang and others beat the practitioners. The practitioners were detained for 15 days.
3. [Rizhao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Fengying Detained
Ms. Li Fengying from Wulian County was arrested by officers from the Chengguan Police Station in Wulian County on the afternoon of March 3, 2018. Officers from the Wulian County Domestic Security Division took Ms. Li to the Wulian County Detention Center for ten days. Officers from the Domestic Security Division and the Chengguan Police Station ransacked her home the next day.
4. [Beihai City, Guangxi Province] Five Practitioners Held at Brainwashing Center
Five practitioners were being held at the brainwashing center in Rujiale Hotel, New District, Yintan Town since November 2017. Four of them were recently released, while Ms. Pan Xing remains held. The four released practitioners are Ms. Mai Xuefang, Ms. Weng Liangfen, Ms. Li Fengnan, and Ms. Zheng Zhengxiang.

5. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Gao Hongjie Arrested
Ms. Gao Hongjie was arrested by officers from the Dachang County Police Station on March 4, 2018.
6. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wu Zhenju and Ms. Tong Julan Detained
Ms. Wu Zhenju and Ms. Tong Julan from Zhucheng, Xinzhou District, Wuhan City were arrested at home by officers from Wuhan and local Domestic Security Divisions on February 28, 2018. Ms. Wu, over 60, was subjected to 15 days’ administrative detention. Ms. Tong, over 70, was subjected to 30 days’ criminal detention.
7. [Tianjin] Mr. Li Jianran Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
Mr. Li Jianran from Dagang, Binhai New District was sentenced to three years in prison and three years’ probation, and fined 2,000 yuan on December 21, 2017.
8. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Song Zhimin Detained
Ms. Song Zhimin was arrested at the end of February 2017. She is being held at the Jinzhou City Detention Center.
