(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 5 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 13 were illegally arrested.

1. [Chongqing] Ms. Huang Zhenglan Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Huang Zhenglan was recently sentenced to a four-year prison term and taken to Chongqing Women's Prison (Zouma Prison) on December 5, 2017.
2. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Wang Guirong Detained
Ms. Wang Guirong and another practitioner were arrested by officers from the Jingba Police Station on February 5, 2018, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Wang is currently being held at the No. 3 Detention Center. The other practitioner was released.
3. [Xianning City, Hubei Province] Ms. Hao Yufang Arrested
Ms. Hao Yufang was arrested by Li Hongjun (李宏俊) from the Xianning City Domestic Security Division along with officers from the Chalukou Police Station on January 19, 2018. The police ransacked her home. She was released that evening.
4. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Zhou Yanling Detained
Ms. Zhou Yanling was arrested at her workplace by officers from the Shanpan Police Station and the Yanjiang Police Department on February 6, 2018. She is currently being held at a detention center.
5. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Mr. Yang Jun's Whereabouts Unknown
Mr. Yang Jun was arrested and his home was ransacked by local police officers on February 2, 2018, for producing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police confiscated computers and printers. Mr. Yang's current whereabouts are unknown.

6. [Dazhou City, Sichuan Province] Six Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Tang Youbi, Ms. Wang Mingxian, Ms. Wang Jianbi, Ms. Zhou Bitian, and Ms. Gou were arrested by officers from the Xiqu Police Station and the Beiqu Police Station on February 5, 2018, while they were reading the teachings of Falun Gong. Ms. Wang Anbi was arrested at home.
Ms. Tang and Ms. Gou were released that evening. Three practitioners are currently being held at the Dazhu County Detention Center and one is at the Dazhou City Detention Center.

7. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Two Practitioners Sentenced
Mr. Sun Lihao was recently sentenced to a three-year prison term and fined 3,000 yuan by the Yuanbao District Court. He has appealed. Ms. Zhao Xuejing was sentenced to a three-year-and two-month prison term and fined 3,000 yuan.
8. [Si County, Anhui Province] Ms. Zhou Yanyu Detained
Ms. Zhou Yanyu was arrested at her store by officers from the Chengqu Police Station on December 29, 2017. She is currently being held at the Suzhou Detention Center.
9. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhao Hua Arrested
Mr. Zhao Hua was arrested at the Harbin Railway Station by railway station officers on February 7, 2018.
10. [Beijing] Mr. Shi Yuanshun and Ms. Yang Wenying Detained
Mr. Shi Yuanshun was transferred to the Xicheng Detention Center, and Ms. Yang Wenying is still being held at another detention center.
