Additional Persecution News from China – November 27, 2018 (14 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 15 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 26 were illegally arrested.

1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Ma Xinying Detained

Ms. Ma Xinying is being held in the Harbin Detention Center.

2. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhao Su'e Taken to Prison

Ms. Zhao Su'e from Heishan County was sentenced to a four-year prison term. She was transferred from the Jinzhou Detention Center to Liaoning Province Women's Prison on November 27, 2018.

3. [Beijing] Ms. Gao Yuling Detained

Ms. Gao Yuling, 64, from the Tiantongyuan Residential Community, Changping District, was arrested by officers from the Tiantongyuan Police Station when she was talking to others about Falun Gong on November 19, 2018. She is being held in the Changping Detention Center.

4. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Mr. Pei Yuxian and His Wife Ms. Li Yanchun Arrested

Mr. Pei Yuxian and his wife Ms. Li Yanchun were arrested on November 25, 2018, when they were talking to people about Falun Gong in Lulong County. Their home was ransacked.

Ms. He Yan was arrested by officers from the Wen'an Police Station at the gate of the Yingli Residential Community on the afternoon of November 23, 2018.

6. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Jia Zhaomin Detained

Mr. Jia Zhaomin was arrested by the Qihe County police in Dezhou City on November 11, 2018, when distributing Falun Gong materials. He was taken to the Dezhou Detention Center. The officers later ransacked his home and confiscated Falun Dafa books and printed materials.

7. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Xueyong and Over 20 Other Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Wang Xueyong and over 20 other practitioners were arrested on November 25, 2018. All of the practitioners' cell phones were confiscated.

8. [Rizhao City, Shandong Province] Eight Practitioners Facing Trial

Eight practitioners will be tried by the Wulian County Court on the morning of November 29, 2018. They are: Ms. Qu Zhengrong, Ms. Sun Ping, Ms. Gong Hua, Mr. Wang Yanzhou, Mr. Yao Yonglin, Mr. Qu Zhenghua, Ms. Li Huijuan, and Ms. Wang Junling.

10. [Hengyang County, Hunan Province] Mr. Peng Junnan Arrested

Mr. Peng Junnan, 75, was arrested in Maoshi Town by officers from the Maoshi Police Station on November 22, 2018, when he was talking to people about Falun Gong.

11. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Li Heying Arrested

Ms. Li Heying from the Maogang District was arrested in September 2018 by officers from the Pingchuan District Domestic Security Division, who were called in by campus police officers, when Ms. Li was talking to people about Falun Gong.

12. [Shantou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Xu Muqun Tried

Ms. Xu Muqun was arrested by officers from the Lianxia Border Police Station and Domestic Security Division on May 3, 2018. Her case was turned over to the Chenghai District Procuratorate on May 29.

The Chenghai Education Department made the decision to suspend Ms. Xu's salary on September 21.

Ms. Tang Qiuyuan was arrested by officers from the Jinbilu Police Station on the morning of November 23, 2018. She was taken to the Bailonglu Detention Center.
