Canadian Practitioners Participate in Banff Santa Claus Parade of Lights
(Minghui.org) Canadian Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate in the 2018 Santa Claus Parade of Lights in Banff on November 17. The Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa) procession made a big impact on spectators with an elegant float, bright costumes, and colorful flags.
The annual Santa Claus Parade of Lights is a big event in this beautiful tourist town in western Canada. Despite the cold temperatures, crowds still showed up in force.
Falun Gong had the largest procession in the parade. Spectators warmly greeted the practitioners in Chinese. Children called out, “Ni Hao! (Hello)” and reached out their hands to high-five practitioners.
Tourists from China were happy to see Falun Gong in the procession. They smiled and waved at the practitioners.
Many Canadians asked for more information about Falun Gong and wanted to know where the practitioners came from.
Many spectators smiled and waved at the practitioners, and some gave the practitioners the thumbs-up.
Despite the freezing weather, the practitioners were happy to share Falun Gong and see spectators' delighted faces.
