(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 14 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 22 were illegally arrested.

1. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Dong Shuyan and Ms. Zhang Yuhua Detained

Ms. Dong Shuyan and Ms. Zhang Yuhua were arrested by Railway Police Department officers on July 17, 2018. Over 40 Falun Dafa books, a computer, two printers and photos of the founder of Falun Gong were confiscated.

Ms. Dong and Ms. Zhang were held in the Mudanjiang Detention Center for five days.

2. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Ling Detained

Ms. Wang Ling from Qiaotou Town was arrested by Beitai Police Department officers on the morning of October 23, 2018. Her home was ransacked.

Ms. Wang was detained for ten days.

3. [Shizuishan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Shi Meilan and Ms. Gao Xueling Detained

Ms. Shi Meilan and Ms. Gao Xueling from the Huinong District were arrested on October 4, 2018, for talking to people about Falun Gong. Their homes were ransacked.

Ms. Shi and Ms. Gao were taken to the Nanjie Police Station, and detained for five days.

4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Yu Chunbo, Mr. Du He, Ms. Qu Li, Ms. Wang Min and Ms. Wang Hongyan were arrested on October 12, 2018. They were held in the Weizigou Detention Center for ten days, before being transferred to the Puyang Street Police Station, Luyuan District on October 23.

Ms. Wang Leying from Sunwu County was arrested on October 11, 2018. She is being held in the Heihe City Detention Center.

6. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Hongyan and Her Husband Mr. Feng Biao Detained

Ms. Li Hongyan is being held in the Changchun City No. 4 Detention Center. Her case was turned over to the Erdao District Procuratorate on October 22, 2018. Her husband Mr. Feng Biao is being held in the Changchun City No. 3 Detention Center.

7. [Beijing] Ms. Sun Chang Arrested

Ms. Sun Chang from Liulihe Town in the Fangshan District was arrested by plainclothes officers on the morning of October 21, 2018, for talking to people about Falun Gong.

8. [Tianjin] Mr. Zhang Guangfu Detained

Mr. Zhang Guangfu from Huanghuadian Township in the Wuqing District was arrested on October 23, 2018. He is being held in the Wuqing Detention Center.

9. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Fu and Ms. Fan Detained

Ms. Fu and Ms. Fan from the Pingfang District were arrested by Pingfang Domestic Security Division officers on October 24, 2018, while talking to people about Falun Gong. They were detained for ten days.

10. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. He Julian Arrested

Ms. He Julian was arrested by Jingerlu Police Station officers on the afternoon of October 23, 2018, when she was talking to people about Falun Gong. Photos of the founder of Falun Gong and Falun Gong books were confiscated.

11. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Jia Xiuchun was sentenced to a two-year prison term in June 2018. She was taken to the Liaoning Province Women's Prison on October 16.

Ms. Lin Jingping was sentenced to four years in prison, while Ms. Fang Fang was sentenced to 3.5 years in prison.

12. [Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Situ Chaoyi Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Situ Chaoyi was arrested in April 2018 for talking to the police about Falun Gong. He was held for six months before serving a three-year prison term at home, with four years probation. The police extorted 70,000 yuan from his family.

13. [Shanghai] Ms. Li Suqin Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Li Suqin, 71, from the Huangpu District was arrested and taken to the Shanghai City Brainwashing Center.

Ms. Wang Guizhi and Ms. Han Yueqiu were arrested by Zhonghualu Police Station officers while talking to people about Falun Gong on October 23, 2018. Ms. Han managed to escape, while Ms. Wang was released due to her high blood pressure.

15. [Guilin City, Guangxi Province] Ms. Liu Zexuan Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Liu Zexuan was arrested at home by Jiangjunqiao Police Station officers in the Xiangshan District on the evening of October 23, 2018. She was taken to a brainwashing center.

16. [Chongqing] Ms. Liu Guibi Arrested

Ms. Liu Guibi was arrested by plainclothes officers on the afternoon of October 24, 2018.

17. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zheng Weidong Arrested

Mr. Zheng Weidong was arrested at home on October 14, 2018. His whereabouts are unknown.

18. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Several Practitioners Sentenced to Prison

The Dalian City Political and Legal Affairs Committee arrested several practitioners on June 28, 2016. Many of them have been sentenced by the Lushun Court.

Ms. Liu Renqiu was sentenced to ten years in prison.Ms. Jin Shuyue was sentenced to 18 months in prison.Ms. Sheng Jie was sentenced to 7.5 years in prison.Ms. Gu Shuchun was sentenced to two years in prison.Mr. Yu Yongfu was sentenced to 15 months in prison.Ms. Wang Hongyu was sentenced to 3.5 years in prison.Mr. Wang Jinrong was sentenced to 16 months in prison.Mr. Liu Daixue and Mr. Wang Huixun were each sentenced to three years in prison, with three years of probation.
