(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 9 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 12 were illegally arrested.

1. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Song Yushan Facing Trial

Mr. Song Yushan was arrested by Shuiguohu Police Station officers in the Wuchang District on November 4, 2017. He has been held for nearly a year and is facing trial in the Wuchang District Court.

2. [Jingzhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Xuying Arrested

Ms. Li Xuying from Gong'an County was arrested on the morning of October 10, 2018, when she was distributing Falun Gong materials in Zhakou Town, Gong'an County. She was later released.

3. [Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Jiang Linying Arrested

Ms. Jiang Linying was arrested by Hezuo District Police Department and Domestic Security Division officers on the morning of October 10, 2018. Her Falun Dafa books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and other personal belongings were confiscated.

Ms. Jiang was taken to the Tongjianglu Police Station.

4. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Huanmei Arrested

Ms. Zhang Huanmei was arrested in Dianzi Township on October 8, 2018.

5. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Five Practitioners Detained

Mr. Xu Jingchao, Ms. Sun Zhongying, Ms. Ni Wenmin, Ms. Li Chuanlan, and Ms. Wang Xiushuang, from Heilin Town, Yushu City, were recently followed and arrested. They were detained for five days.

6. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Qin Jiegui Arrested

Mr. Qin Jiegui, 60, was arrested by the Huanren County police in June 2018.

7. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Guihua Arrested

Ms. Zhang Guihua, from Guojia Village in the Fangzi District, was arrested at the Dalijia Farmers' Market by Weifang Free Trade Zone Police Station officers on the morning of October 10, 2018.

8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Han Shengjin and Mr. Zheng Keqing Arrested

Mr. Han Shengjin from Zhongjia Village, Ershilipu Town was arrested by Yongzheng Neighborhood Police Station officers in the Jinzhou District on the morning of October 10, 2018, when he was distributing information materials about Falun Gong. He has since returned home.

Mr. Zheng Keqing from Qianzhangtun Village, Guangmingshan Town, Zhuanghe City, was arrested on October 9, 2018.

9. [Chongqing] Mr. Zhang Shengquan Detained

Mr. Zhang Shengquan was arrested at the Danlonglu Farmers' Market in the Nan'an District on the afternoon of September 7, 2018. He was taken to the Liziba Detention Center in the Yuzhong District.

10. [Wuzhong City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Mr. Song Laiping Facing Trial

Mr. Song Laiping was due to be tried in the Wuzhong City Court on the morning of October 18, 2018.

11. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Sun Yunchuan Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Sun Yunchuan, 77, was sentenced to six months in prison. He appealed to the Qingdao City Intermediate Court and is awaiting a second trial.

12. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Shuyu Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Yang Shuyu from Penglai City was sentenced to three years in prison and fined 20,000 yuan. She has since appealed.

13. [Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Lu Xinyang Facing Trial

Mr. Lu Xinyang was due to be tried by the Weicheng District Court on October 23, 2018.

14. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ding Feng Detained

Ms. Ding Feng from Mujia Town, Liaoyang County, was recently arrested. She is being held in the Liaoyang City Detention Center.

15. [Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wang Rongfen and Ms. Zhou Xiuhua Detained

Ms. Wang Rongfen and Ms. Zhou Xiuhua were arrested in September 2018. Their homes were ransacked. Both practitioners were taken to a detention center.

16. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Juan Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Wang Juan from Nong'an County was arrested and has been held in a detention center for a year. She was sentenced to a four-year prison term and taken to the Heizuizi Women's Prison on September 4, 2018.
