(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 4 provinces. According to this report, 10 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 3 were illegally arrested.

6. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Mr. Sun Haiquan Detained
1. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhu Hengde Facing Trial
Mr. Zhu Hengde from Gudao Town has been held in the Niuzhuang Detention Center for a year. He is in poor health and is scheduled to be tried in the detention center on the morning of October 10, 2018.
2. [Taian City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Chuanju and Ms. Shang Fengju Detained
Ms. Wang Chuanju, 62, and Ms. Shang Fengju, 60, both from Dafeng Mine in Feicheng County, were arrested by Hutun Town Police Station officers on September 17, 2018, when they were talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in Hutun.
Officers ransacked Ms. Wang's home that afternoon, and confiscated her printer, computer, cell phone, a picture of Falun Gong's founder, Falun Gong books, cash worth more than 10,000 yuan, and other personal belongings.
Ms. Wang and Ms. Shang are being held in the Taian City Detention Center.
3. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Ji Caiqin was arrested on November 25, 2017, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken to the Hongdao Police Station, and was released after being forced to pay 10,000 yuan. Ms. Ji was arrested again in June, 2018, by plainclothes officers when she was giving out copies of The Ultimate Goal of Communism. She was held in the Hongdao Police Station, and released after being forced to pay 10,000 yuan.
Ms. Han Miaoyun was arrested by plainclothes officers in August, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was released later that day after being forced to pay 10,000 yuan.
Ms. Han and Ms. Xu Xiufang were arrested by plainclothes officers in January, 2018, when they were talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were released after Hongdao Police Station officers extorted 15,000 yuan from each of their families.
Ms. Cheng Aizhen and Ms. Xin Chengju were arrested by Hongdao plainclothes officers in May, 2018, when they were talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were held in the Hongdao Police Station and later released.
4. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Mr. Li Peigao Arrested and Harassed
Mr. Li Peigao, 81, was arrested by Jinbilu Police Station officers on the afternoon of September 15, 2018, when he was talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. His Falun Gong materials were confiscated and he was taken to the police station.
Officers then took Mr. Li to his home, ransacked it, and confiscated a picture of Falun Gong's founder and Falun Gong books. Mr. Li was released at 1:30 a.m..
Daguan Police Station officers went to his home three days later to harass him.
5. [Nanjin City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Zhao Huaying Paralyzed
Ms. Zhao Huaying, over 80 years old, lives with her son in Nanjin City. She was arrested by Yijiangmen Police Station officers on November 11, 2017.
Ms. Zhao is paralyzed as a result of being persecuted. She is bedridden and needs 24 hour care. However, the Gulou District Procuratorate still plans to put her on trial in Gulou Court.
6. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Mr. Sun Haiquan Detained
Mr. Sun Haiquan is a retiree from a manufacturing company. He was arrested at home by Jianshelu Police Station officers in mid-July, 2018.
Mr. Sun is being held in the Nanyang City Detention Center.
