(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners' purpose of coming to the human world is to assimilate with the Fa and carry out the mission of saving people. As practitioners, we need to pay attention, not deviate from those two key points, and not go off track.

American Vice President Mike Pence’s recent speech on China aroused my interest, and I expected the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to soon perish. I knew that I shouldn't be attached to things that happen in society, but I couldn't help myself. I kept browsing the Internet to see if there was any breaking news on this issue.

It wasn't until I had two dreams that gave me hints not to deviate from what I should be doing that I was able to drop this fixation.

In my first dream, I was walking up the stairs, when a practitioner said to me, “It's too tiring like this. Let's take the elevator. It's quicker and easier.” So I took the elevator with him. However, the ceiling dropped down on every level when the elevator went up. The elevator finally arrived at the third floor, where his home was. But my home was on the sixth floor, and I had nowhere to go, as all of the floors above had collapsed.

I was walking home in the second dream and was about half an hour away. But I wanted to get home quicker, so I spent 600 yuan and bought a train ticket. However, the train took me to Russia, which was much farther from my home.

I realized that only by doing things according to the requirements of Dafa will we stay on track. No matter how society changes, the requirements for Dafa practitioners won't change.

I asked myself if I could assimilate to the Fa by reading the news? Of course, the answer is no, and fixating on the news will only result in my gaining more attachments.

We have reincarnated lifetime after lifetime, and have been through countless hardships in order to be here for the end of Fa-rectification. We must be mindful not to be attached to anything; otherwise we can go astray and our cultivation would be in vain, with hundreds of thousands of years of waiting destroyed in a day.
