(Minghui.org) The Ninghe District Court of Tianjin City illegally sentenced Ms. He Jing to one year of imprisonment and fined her 5,000 yuan on May 12, 2017 for her belief in Falun Dafa.
More than 10 police officers broke into Ms. Yin Lianhua’s home on the night of October 18, 2016, where Ms. Yin, Ms. He Jing, Ms. Wang Shumin, Ms. Chen Yuling, Ms. Yu Wenxiu and Ms. Xu Guitai were gathered to study the teachings of Falun Dafa. They were arrested and taken to the Lutai Town Police Station.
The police confiscated three cell phones from Ms. He’s bag. Later, they ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Dafa books, a computer and some currency printed with Dafa messages. The other practitioners were released.
The Ninghe District Court held a hearing against Ms. He on March 10, 2017. The court issued the verdict on May 12, 2017.
Ms. He, 34, is the only child in her family. She worked outside of her hometown after she graduated from college and got married. She later divorced and moved back to her hometown to take care of her sick mother.
After learning Falun Dafa, she found relief from her depression. Her friends and relatives were glad to see her renewed happiness.
Ms. He knew that Dafa was wrongly treated by the communist regime. So she used her cell phones to disseminate information about the persecution to people.
