(Minghui.org) A woman in Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, was arrested on June 30, 2017, simply for practicing Falun Gong. She is currently detained at the Fuxin Detention Center. According to the police, they monitored her movements for at least two years before arresting her.
Ms. Zhang Yanhui, 43, is a graduate of Changchun Post and Telecommunications College. She started practicing Falun Gong while in college. Later, she worked at the Shenyang branch of China Mobile after graduating.
When the persecution of Falun Gong started in 1999, the Shenyang branch tried to force Mr. Zhang to renounce her belief. When she refused, they demoted her and transferred her to the Fuxin branch.
Despite the persecution, Ms. Zhang continued to treat others kindly and to do her work well. She would always help others in need and has a good reputation both in the company and at home. She soon became a mainstay of the company, specializing in technology.
When in the Fuxin branch, Ms. Zhang's customer service record was impeccable. Due to the persecution, however, she could not be promoted. Instead, those whom she trained became her superiors. However, Ms. Zhang handled all the core tasks. The leaders knew she did a good job but were unable to promote her due to orders from higher-ups.
