(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners recently conducted activities in Slovakia, Cyprus, and Finland to introduce the benefits of Falun Gong to the public. They also raised awareness of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) ongoing persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
Introducing Falun Gong and Exposing the CCP's Persecution in Slovakia
Falun Gong practitioners in Slovakia set up banners in the historic old section of Bratislava on the afternoon of June 10, 2017. While several practitioners demonstrated the exercises, others distributed flyers and talked to passers-by about Falun Gong. They also exposed the CCP's persecution. People from all walks of life, including teachers, doctors, scholars and government employees paused to learn about Falun Gong.

One woman was drawn by the exercise demonstration and paused to learn more. When she learned about the CCP's persecution, she immediately signed the petition calling for a stop to the brutalities in China.
A man from Spain was interested in practicing Falun Gong. He said that he had practiced another qigong and Taiji for 15 years. He asked whether he could learn Falun Gong. He tried the second exercise and said he liked it.
A professor who teaches in a New Zealand university said that she knew about the persecution in China, but she did not understand why the Chinese regime persecutes Falun Gong. She'd asked her Chinese students but they could not explain. After a practitioner told her more, she finally understood that the main reason for the persecution is that Falun Gong's principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance cannot be tolerated by the CCP.
A man beside her also explained that the CCP is a regime that is always trying to persecute people. The professor is very interested in Chinese culture and is interested in learning Falun Gong.

A group of Chinese tourists stopped to watch the exercise demonstration and talk to the practitioners. The practitioners introduced Falun Gong to them and exposed the true nature of the CCP. Over ten people in the group agreed to quit their membership in the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
Raising Awareness on Helsinki Day in Finland
June 12 is Helsinki Day, with various celebrations throughout the city. Falun Gong practitioners set up a stand downtown and raised awareness about the CCP's persecution.

A practitioner introduced Falun Gong to a passer-by who became interested and learned all five of the exercises. She said she'd learned other qigong practices before. She told the practitioners that she felt very refreshed after doing the Falun Gong exercises.
An engineer signed the petition against the persecution when he learned about the CCP's state-sanctioned live organ harvesting from persecuted Falun Gong practitioners. He suggested other locations where the practitioners could reach out to more people, to gather more public support for ending the persecution.
Introducing Falun Gong in Cyprus
June 5 is a traditional holiday in Cyprus, when many people travel to coastal areas. Falun Gong practitioners went to Larnaca, on the south coast of Cyprus. They set up banners, demonstrated the exercises and distributed flyers to passers-by.
Many people paused to watch the exercise demonstration. Some wished to learn more about Falun Gong and asked where to learn it.
A tourist and his son stopped to watch the exercise demonstration. He asked why Falun Gong is persecuted in China. A practitioner talked with him for quite a while. The man then asked for the location of a practice site, where he could learn Falun Gong.
One woman was excited to see the Falun Gong activity. She said that a few days before she'd seen a video of the recent Falun Gong parade in New York on Facebook. She was impressed, as she'd never seen such grand parade. She had never heard of Falun Gong before she saw the video. So she was pleased to see the practitioners in Cyprus and planned to go to the practice site to learn Falun Gong.
