(Minghui.org) Mr. Li Hongzhi, founder of Falun Dafa, introduced the practice to the public on May 13, 1992. Twenty-five years later, Falun Dafa has been spread to five continents and embraced by people in more than 100 countries and regions.
The first Falun Dafa Day was celebrated on May 13, 2000, just months after the persecution began in China in July 1999. May 13 this year marks the 18th World Falun Dafa Day and the 25th anniversary of the practice's introduction to the public.Practitioners from around the world sent in their greetings to express their deep respect and gratitude to Master Li.
