A Kind Thought from a Seven-Year-Old
(Minghui.org) Chenchen is a seven-year-old student. At the age of four, his Great Aunt Amy, a Falun Dafa practitioner, picked him up from daycare. He was frequently sick and dreamed about ghosts and fighting machine toys. He was afraid of the dark and did not want to be alone.
Although his parents and grandmother were opposed to Amy's practicing Falun Dafa, Amy taught Chenchen to repeat the words “Falun Dafa is good” and also told him to follow the Dafa principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Since then, Chenchen has no longer had fevers or bad dreams.
When he started elementary school, his Great Aunt Amy no longer came to see him. However, he calls her almost every day and tells her how he is getting along with his classmates and how he forgives those who mistreat him.
He traveled to other countries with his parents during the summer. He was really happy when he saw practitioners passing out informational fliers about Dafa to tourists and described them in detail to his grandaunt.
Influenced by Dafa, Chenchen got along with his friends and respected his elders. He does not swear, has good manners, and does not mind sharing his food or his favorite toys.
Chenchen’s grandmother changed her attitude toward Dafa after witnessing the changes in him. She now welcomes practitioner friends into her home, no longer opposes Amy's practicing Dafa, and worked to stop the police from harassing her sister.
Recently, a fellow practitioner was arrested and detained. Chenchen's grandmother asked a lawyer to help the practitioner. When his great aunt discussed the cost for the lawyer with the other practitioners, Chenchen said, “I want to help, too. I want to give you 1,000 yuan.
"I want to do this is for Dafa and to help rescue the practitioners who are detained.”
People were surprised by what the seven-year-old said. Of course, the practitioners would not accept his money, but they commended him for his compassionate gesture.
