Additional Persecution News from China – December 3, 2017 (11 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 15 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 10 were illegally arrested.

1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Kong Qingchun Taken to Prison

Mr. Kong Qingchun was taken to the Dongling Prison on November 29, 2017.

2. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Mingying and Mr. Yao Guocai Arrested

Ms. Wang Mingying, in her fifties, and Mr. Yao Guocai, in his forties, from Hualin Town were arrested at home by officers from the Yangming Police Department on November 29, 2017. Their homes were ransacked.

The officers confiscated a bankcard from Ms. Wang, and photos of, and books written by, the founder of Falun Gong from Mr. Yao's home.

3. [Beihai City, Guangxi Autonomous Region] Ms. Weng Arrested

Ms. Weng was arrested by plainclothes officers on November 21, 2017. His whereabouts are unknown.

4. [Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Zhang Guilan Arrested

Ms. Zhang Guilan from the Development Zone was arrested in front of her apartment building by seven to eight officers on November 30, 2017. She was taken to the Boming Police Station, where the officers forcibly took pictures of her, and took her fingerprints and blood sample. She was released half an hour later.

5. [Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Nie Meixiang Officially Placed Under Arrest

Ms. Nie Meixiang from Chongren County was arrested in early October 2017. She was taken to the Fuzhou City Detention Center, and has now been officially placed under arrest.

6. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zang Lianmei and Ms. Liu Lijun Arrested

Ms. Zang Lianmei and Ms. Liu Lijun were arrested by officers from the Jichang Police Station on November 28, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong in Jinhua Park.

Ms. Zang was released that evening. Ms. Liu was held in the Ganjingzi Drug Rehabilitation Center for 15 days.

7. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Jiang Sugeng Arrested

Ms. Jiang Sugeng was reported to the authorities for talking to people about Falun Gong on the morning of November 29, 2017. She was arrested and her home was ransacked by officers from the Shishan Police Station.

8. [Chongqing] Ms. Duan Zaiying Detained

Ms. Duan Zaiying was arrested by officers from the Tuqiao Police Station in the Banan District on July 7, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was taken to the Banan Detention Center.

9. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Gao Xiusheng Detained

Mr. Gao Xiusheng from Laixi City was arrested by the Laixi police on the evening of December 1, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong. He is being held in the Laixi Detention Center.

10. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Nine Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Su Guihua, Mr. Yu Xianrong, Ms. Lu Yonghua, Mr. Gong Piqi, Ms. Jiang Xiaoli, Ms. Lin Xueqing, Ms. Song Guixiang, Mr. Wang Mingde and his wife Ms. Yin Delan were arrested.

Mr. Wang and Ms. Yin remain in custody.

11. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Ji Guangkui was arrested on March 28, 2017, and has been tortured. He will be tried in the Caohu City Court on December 6, 2017.

Ms. Ding Shumei and Ms. Huang Liping were arrested on October 30, 2017, for distributing Falun Gong materials. They are being held in the Hefei City Women's Detention Center.

Ms. Zheng Hua from the Luyang District was arrested by officers from the Luyang Domestic Security Division and the Anqinglu Police Station on November 2, 2017, for distributing Falun Gong materials. She has been officially placed under arrest.

Ms. Li Wenyu was arrested in front of her apartment building on November 14, 2017. She is being held in the Hefei City Women's Detention Center.
