(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 5 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 19 were illegally arrested.

Ms. Zhang Shujie from Jinchang Town was arrested by officers from the Dongchang District Domestic Security Division and the Jinchang Town Police Station on the afternoon of November 24, 2017.

2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Cuiqin Arrested

Ms. Zhang Cuiqin was reported for distributing calendars on the afternoon of November 22, 2017. She was arrested by officers from the Liuyinglu Police Station, Kuancheng District. She is held in the Public Security Hospital for health reasons.

Ms. Jiang Weizhen was arrested by officers from the Xinhua Police Department on June 27, 2017. She has been held in a detention center for five months. She was tried by the Longcheng Court at the Xidayingzi Court on the morning of November 30, 2017.

6. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zheng Qingrui Detained

Ms. Zheng Qingrui was arrested by officers from the Anshanlu Police Station on the evening of November 18, 2017. She was taken to the Pudong Detention Center for 15 days of detention.

7. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Jiang Taixiang and Ms. Liu Ruixiang Detained

Ms. Jiang Taixiang and Ms. Liu Ruixiang from the Hangezhuang area, Jiaolai Town, were arrested by officers from the Jiaolai Town Police Station on the morning of November 23, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong. Ms. Jiang was taken to Jimo Detention Center. Ms. Liu remains in the police station.

8. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Shao Chengluo Given a Nine-Year Prison Term

Mr. Shao Chengluo from the Chengyang District was arrested on May 2, 2017. He was given a nine-year prison term on November 10. He has appealed.

9. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhao Shiheng and Wife Ms. Sang Fengying Arrested

Mr. Zhao Shiheng and his wife Ms. Sang Fengying were arrested by six or seven officers from the Gucheng Police Station on the morning of November 17, 2017. The officers took over 200 yuan in cash from them. Ms. Sang returned home that evening. Mr. Zhao was taken to the police station, where he was interrogated by officers from the Shouguang City Domestic Security Division and the Gucheng Police Station. He was then taken to the Shouguang City Detention Center.

10. [Heyuan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Deng Shi'e Taken to Prison

Ms. Deng Shi'e's family went to the Dongyuan Detention Center to visit her on November 22, 2017. Guards told them that Ms. Deng had been taken to the Huadu Women's Prison the week earlier.

11. [Dongping County, Shandong Province] Ms. Su Xiuying and Ms. Zhang Chunxiang Detained

Ms. Su Xiuying and Ms. Zhang Chunxiang from Pangna Village, Shanglaozhuang Township, was arrested on the afternoon of November 20, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong. They are held in the Tai'an Detention Center.

12. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Hang Xia Detained

Ms. Hang Xia from the Wanjiang Residential Community was reported for talking to people about Falun Gong at noon on November 22, 2017. She was arrested by officers from the Qilitang Police Station. She was held in the Hefei Detention Center.

13. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Ding Shumei and Ms. Huang Liping Detained

Ms. Ding Shumei and Ms. Huang Liping were arrested on the evening of October 30, 2017, for distributing Falun Gong materials. They are held in the Hefei Women's Detention Center.

14. [Chongqing] Three Practitioners Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Feng Bingshu, Ms. Tang Ping, and Ms. Zhang Yan from Beibei District were arrested in mid-October 2017. They were taken to the Chongqing City Brainwashing Center.

15. [Chongqing] Ms. Zhang Tingchun and Ms. Fei Xiqiong Arrested

Ms. Zhang Tingchun from the Wanzhou District was arrested at her rented home on September 22, 2017. The place was ransacked. Her whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Fei Xiqiong from Shuitu Town, Beibei District was arrested and her home was ransacked by plainclothes officers from the Jingguan Town Police Station on the morning of November 13, 2017. She returned home several hours later.

16. [Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Zhang Arrested

Mr. Zhang was arrested by officers from the Caihong Police Department on November 16, 2017. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong, a printer, a computer, a cell phone, and cash. Mr. Zhang was taken to the police department, where the officers took turns interrogating him. He has returned home.

Ms. Wang Xiuying was arrested near her home by officers from the Shapo Police Station on November 21, 2017. She was taken to the Xinhe Brainwashing Center, Baqiao District.
