(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 7 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 16 were illegally arrested.

1. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Mr. Li Yingui on Hunger Strike

Mr. Li Yingui was arrested by Yue, an officer from the Gongxingdun Police Station, and residential community staff on September 21, 2017. He was held in the Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center. He has been on a hunger strike for six days.

2. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Qingyun and Ms. Li Qingying Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Wang Qingyun and Ms. Li Qingying were tried at the Boshan District Court on October 10, 2017. Ms. Wang was given a one-year prison term and fined 5,000 yuan. Ms. Li was given a ten-month prison term and fined 4,000 yuan.

3. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Guo Ruizhen Detained

Ms. Guo Ruizhen from Daliuzhuang Village, Wubei Town, Laixi City, was arrested at home by officers from the Laixi 610 Office and the Wubei Police Station on November 4, 2017. The officers confiscated her Falun Gong books. Ms. Guo was taken to the Laixi Detention Center for 15 days of detention.

4. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Ms. Xin Yufang Detained

Ms. Xin Yufang from the Fuyang City Development Zone was arrested and her home was ransacked by Zhang Fujun, head of the Development Zone Domestic Security Division, and other officers on September 12, 2017. She was taken to the Fuyang City Women's Detention Center after being detained in the Xiguan Detention Center for 15 days, where she is still in custody.

5. [Xianning City, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Dongmei Taken Into Custody

Ms. Li Dongmei, in her 60s, was reported for distributing Falun Gong informational calendars in Zhonghuo Town, Chibi City, on the morning of November 4, 2017. She was arrested. She is being held at the Chongyang Town Police Department.

6. [Yingcheng City, Hubei Province] Four Practitioners Taken Into Custody

Mr. Xiong Jiwei, Mr. Xiong Wende, Mr. Wang Gangqiang, and Mr. Li Guoping from the Dongmafang Neighborhood were arrested by officers from the Xiaogan City Police Department, Hanchuan City Police Department, and the Dongmafang Police Station on the morning of November 7, 2017. They are being held in the Hanchuan City Police Department's Case Center.

7. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Ruping and Ms. Zhang Chenglan Detained

Ms. Liu Ruping and Ms. Zhang Chenglan from Changqing District were arrested on September 28, 2017. They are being held in the Jinan City Detention Center.

8. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Aiguo and Mr. Zhang Lin Detained

Ms. Liu Aiguo and Mr. Zhang Lin were arrested by officers from the Guanshui Town Police Station, Muping District. They have been held in custody for over 50 days. Ms. Liu's mother went to the police station on November 4, 2017, to demand their release, and she has not returned home.

Ms. Guo Dongxiang, 55, was arrested on November 3, 2017, for distributing Falun Gong materials.

10. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Qingying and Ms. Zheng Baozhen Arrested

Ms. Wang Qingying and Ms. Zheng Baozhen from Fengtai District were arrested by officers from the Yongdingmen Police Station on November 1, 2017. Ms. Wang was released the following day. Ms. Zheng's whereabouts are unknown.

Mr. Luo Xiangxu was arrested at home at noon on November 7, 2017.

Mr. Ma Yitao is being held in the Tongbei Forestry Bureau's Detention Center.

Mr. Xu Zhimin was arrested on the morning of November 6, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong.

14. [Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Ren Yuehui Detained

Mr. Ren Yuehui was arrested by officers from the Yanjiang District Domestic Security Division on August 29, 2017. He was taken to a brainwashing center. He was transferred to the Ziyang City Detention Center on November 4 by the Ziyang City 610 Office.

15. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Xiao Caimei Detained

Ms. Xiao Caimei was arrested by plainclothes officers at the Shenzhen High Speed Rail North Station when she was going to Hengyang by train on the afternoon of October 19, 2017. She was taken to the High Speed Rail Police Department. The officers searched her body and found paper currency with Falun Gong information printed on them. She was later taken to the Shenzhen Railway Detention Center.

16. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Dai Guoyu Detained

Mr. Dai Guoyu from Laixi City was arrested and his home was ransacked by officers from the Laixi 610 Office and the Meihuashan Police Station on the afternoon of November 2, 2017. He was taken to the Laixi City Detention Center for seven days of detention.
