Additional Persecution News from China – November 5, 2017 (16 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 16 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 5 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 11 were illegally arrested.

1. [Puer City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Niu Guilan Detained

Ms. Niu Guilan of Yiliang County was arrested in Puer City around March, 2017. She was admitted to the Puer Detention Center seven months ago. Her situation is unknown.

2. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Chen Peihua Detained

Ms. Chen Peihua was arrested by officers from the Nanjingjie Police Station. She is being held at the Jilin Detention Center.

3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Lin Wenxiang Arrested

Ms. Lin Wenxiang was arrested at the Changchun Railway Station by officers from the Zhanqian Railway Police Station on the evening of October 13, 2017. Her cell phone and Falun Gong materials were confiscated. She was taken to the Weizigou Detention Center, but the center refused to admit her because of her health. She was released.

4. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Huang Biying Harassed

Ms. Huang Biying lives in Diaoyu Village, Tangyuan Town, Pi County. Zhang Qinghua and other officers from the Tangyuan Police Station ransacked her home on the afternoon of October 24, 2017. They confiscated her Falun Gong books, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, a radio, and a TV.

5. [Dazhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Mingxian Detained

Ms. Wang Mingxian of Dazhu County, 65, was reported and arrested by officers from the Dongnan Police Station on the morning of November 1, 2017, when she was mailing letters in the Xinhua Post Office. The letters contained information about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was subjected to 15 days detention and detained at the county detention center.

6. [Wuhu City, Anhui Province] Ms. Lu Shoumei Detained

Ms. Lu Shoumei was arrested at home by officers from the Jinghu Police Department and Jingshan Police Station on October 27, 2017. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated her computer, three printers, Falun Gong materials, printer papers, and other items. She is being held at the Wuhu City Detention Center.

7. [Tongling City, Anhui Province] Ms. Huang Sizhen Detained

Ms. Huang Sizhen was arrested on October 20, 2017. She is being held at a detention center.

8. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Ms. Kong Fanlian Held at Brainwashing Center

Ms. Kong Fanlian from the Automobile Repair Factory, Shengli Oil Field, was taken to a brainwashing center at the end of October, 2017.

9. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Dai Guoyu Detained

Mr. Dai Guoyu was arrested at home by officers from the Meihuashan Police Station in Laixi City and agents from the Laixi 610 Office on the afternoon of November 2, 2017. Her home was ransacked. She was taken to the Meihuashan Police Station, and was detained for seven days at the Laixi City Detention Center.

10. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuhua Arrested

11. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Ou Zhaoan Detained

Ms. Ou Zhaoan of Yueyang City was arrested at the security check point in the Dongguan Railway Station at the end of October, 2017, when Falun Gong materials were found in her luggage. She was about to take the train home from Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. She is being held at the Baiyun Detention Center in Guangzhou City.

Her son's home in Guangzhou was ransacked. Her home in Yueyang was also ransacked. Police confiscated her Falun Gong books, cellphone, and deposit book which contained 150,000 yuan.

12. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Ms. Chen Ying Detained

Ms. Chen Ying was arrested at home on October 9, 2017. Her Falun Gong books, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, and other items were confiscated. She is being held at the Huaihua City Detention Center.

13. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Wang Xiuhua Arrested

Ms. Wang Xiuhua was arrested at home on October 27, 2017.

14. [Beijing] Ms. Jin Faner Detained

Ms. Jin Faner of Dalian City, Liaoning Province was arrested in Beijing after officers checked her ID. She is being held at the Chaoyang Detention Center in Beijing.

15. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Liu Zhimin Detained

Mr. Liu Zhimin was arrested on November 1, 2017. He is being held at the Nancha District Detention Center in Yichun City.

16. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Qinglei Faces Trial

Mr. Liu Qinglei was arrested on the evening of October 15, 2017. Pingyin County Court has scheduled November 28, 2017 as the trial date.
